New to this website, hoping to get some really good information as told by friends
My Case:
I am 23 year Indian Citizen in Canada on a student visa (EXPIRING AUGUST 31st 2013). I entered Canada on 4th Sep 2011 for a 2 year Diploma program. I took two semesters of it and then dropped out. I then enrolled in a (different discipline) one year post graduate diploma certification program (SEPTEMBER 2012 - APRIL 2013). I have been taking full time classes since my entry so no issues on voiding my status (except no classes in Summer, which is allowed).
I applied for a PART TIME WORK PERMIT, applied for my SIN and received it on 22/1/2013 (EXPIRY AUG 2013 same as my STUDENT VISA EXPIRY).
Now my program is ending in April 2013 and I plan to apply for my Off Campus Work Permit FULL TIME, which would give me a one year's working privilege in Canada (not sure till when as I do not know if they count one year from application date or granting date).
I plan to visit India for my brother's wedding in the end of April 2013, immediately upon completion of my last semester of the program, and plan to return in May end 2013. On re-entry to Canada in May 2013, my student visa would still be valid till Aug 2013 but program would have ended.

My question is, since I have a right to work for one year after my studies, would I face any issues while entering back? (As my program is over but study permit is still on for 3 months?)
Question 2. Do I need to apply for my work permit before I leave for India or could I do it after my return? I cannot possibly apply immediately after my program ends, as my results would not be out before I fly out of Canada. Should I be concerned about my safe entry to Canada again?
Question 3. What are all the supporting documents that I should carry to show at Canadian port of entry if questioned?
