Just wondering if anyone can help me with this. I am applying for a visa for my husband. We are living in Thailand but he is Nigerian. We will be getting a criminal record check here in Thailand but the CIC websites says the following:
Nigeria
Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence?
Yes. However, the certificate will be released directly to the Canadian visa office upon request.
Does that mean we should go to the Nigerian Embassy in Bangkok and get them to send the criminal record check to Canada directly or will they be sending the forms to Singapore. Or should we just get the criminal record check and send it ourselves?
Little bit confused any suggestions!
