If you do get in without being reported, you should not leave again for 2 years. If you leave again, you will have the same risk again coming back.

If you stay for 2 years, you will meet the residency requirements again and can apply to renew your PR card without any consequences.

If you don't have a SIN you can apply for it. I do not know if Service Canada would find it strange that your PR card is expired but you don't have a SIN yet.

I don't even know what visa exempt means. Your plan contains too many hopes and ifs for me sorry.

It is pretty much the only way to keep your PR. Leon explained what you would need to do very well.

Ok thanks all. But whether this is actually practical or not I don't know.
SO plan B scrub the existing PR and re apply! So here's my question to Leon (if you don't mind) by my reckoning my eldest daughter only scores 65 on the skilled workers assessment. Would she get any points for attending high school in Canada OR from my aunts who live there? Thanks again

You realize there are other requirements now for skilled worker like a certain occupation or a job offer? With a job offer, she would also get another 10 points.

You can see the points for relatives here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-adaptability.asp It doesn't look like she would get any points for your aunts. You would get points for your aunt though if you apply. Also doesn't look like high school gives points.
