Dear All,

I need some clarification about the following situation.
My whole family (I, wife and 2 kids) we got immigration status in 2006 and went to report to Canada. After reporting back (stayed 3/4 days) we came back to Finland and continue living in Finland.
Since my wife was studying in that time, we could not not move there and we did not inform to anywhere. So the status is gone. However I think now we can move there again, can I get any benefits (if I apply again for example old some quick process or any other ...) from my previous status (since nothing has been changed really since)

The rules/criteria has changed, become more stringent, etc since then.

check www.cic.gc.ca for the latest.

You will not get any benefit for your previous lost status.....you have to face completely new process with new rules and regulations.
