Hi All
First time poster, long time stalker
So Im an Australian on a working holiday visa, with 4 months to go until it expires.
Since coming to Canada, I have never been back to Australia.
My question is, when re-applying, why do I have to submit another Federal Police check, and traffic infringement history report - when I haven't been in Australia for almost 2 years? (Hence, nothing has changed traffic/criminal history-wise since I applied for my first visa... because I've been in Canada the whole time).
The way I see it, the only way to re-apply is to have a friend/family member gather the required documents in Australia on my behalf... and either forge my signature... or incur the time and monetary cost of posting the documents to me in Canada, just for a signature. Then I would have to post them back to the consulate in Australia to re-apply.
This process seems unnecessarily complicated.
Am I missing something?
Can't I just apply to the immigration office here in Canada?
