Would like to share my good news with everyone here!

I received the golden email just now, 8:01pm PST (Vancouver time). I am a BCPNP inland applicant. Not sure why I received the email in the evening though. I was going to finish my 6 months by this weekend and was thinking if I should call them after that day but surprisingly the golden email just arrived today.

BG in progress second time 2016-09-23
PPR 2017-02-02

I am also BC PNP Inland and happy to hear you got a PPR! I hope my security check won't take 4 months because based on my GCMS note I received on Nov 19th, they didn't even start my security check lol

Feb 8 - Received RPRF request and paid
Feb 9 - BG changed to "In Progress"

I just phoned CIC and asked for the status of my application.
They told me that they are still doing a Background Verification.. including the military record I provided them back in early November..

Text Action Item- Meds are expired

Assessement- Having reviewed the applciations as a whole, the PA's temporary resident status, work permits, language test results, and upon analysis, i am satisfied on balance of probabilities the PA meets the elig requirements of CEC class R87.1 of regulations. Arranged employment- Having reviewed WP, LMIA and LOO i am satisfied that the PA has a Qualifiying Job offer of arranged Employment. I am satisfied the PA meets the requirement. Met Selection EE passed ** Admissibility**

Recommendations - Recommend pass summary notes. Appears Met Ready to finalize RPRF


So i believe i am going to get a request to re-do my medicals soon. There may also be a further delay as i am adding my wife to this application as i got married in December

It is good to see some progress, but it is damn slow! Eligibility test should have done months ago.. Is there any reason for the delay?

Please correct me if I am wrong, but;
I believe, calling CIC won't be helpful. I think all they can see is what I can get from GCSM note, but more up-to-date one..
On the other hand, I heard, if you raise the WebForm after the normal processing time, it goes to your visa office and they will update the status or what is holding up my application. So, I will do the webform on the 17th
