I suggest call them back and submit PP. Try asking for an extension and if they give you some days they can finish the trip nicely.

Ya its there on letter but I was thinking with holidays around the corner and family not here will it be ok if we submit by 28th Dec.. From Edmonton to ottawa it would take hardly 2 days... what you all suggest
