Check based on fingerprints.

You can contact them https://nationalpardon.org/fingerprinting-montreal/
RCMP accredits certain fingerprinting centres to do these. They upload data directly to rcmp and then you would receive a letter (by post) from rcmp which will provide the details of your rcmp check

I did mine in Toronto and got the letter from rcmp in 7-10 days time

Can RCMP be done any where or needs to be done from the city you filed PR from.
For example, my address is Toronto and I am in Montreal when I got the request (visiting family) . Can I get it done here only?
