Ask for signature request in case you are using Xpresspost so that you have the full delivery info.

Hi All,

I am a september 2012 Applicant. Got the RCMP request on last week of september 2013.
Sent the results to Ottawa Office and is delivered on October 21,2013.

Sent couple of emails to Ottpilot(1 per week) to acknowledge the receipt. But no response till now.

@CEC007, Did you get the MR request?

hi sarath s,

sending emails every week to cpp-ottawa won't help you with your current situation,btw i understand how you feel since your application is going into a 14 months processing time now without medical request yet but you should just sit tight and wait you should hear from them pretty soon hopefully.
if you have submitted your RCMP finger request check to cpp-ottawa using a courier or canda post xpress post/priority and you can see that it was succefully delivered then be assured that your document is on a safe hands.

I m July 2012 applicant.. still waiting for medical request..I did my RCMP on Aug.. after that no response..Dont understand wats happening with my app...

Hi,
Are u a single applicant or with dependants. Mine is with depandants. Does that make any difference?

we have seen lot of applicants here from january and even february who have dependents included in their applications and have already got MR,biodata and RPRF,some even got their PPR lately.
so i think the reason behind you guys applications are tking a bit longer then usual is due to either security check or review required for your eligibilty or could be both.
if you have lived in so many countries or even traveled a lot that would also have an impact on the processing times.
if you have left any gaps in your background declaration that would affect the processing time badly as well.
please keep in mind that the processing times for CEC is currently 13 months for 80% off that applications,meaning another 20% could take a long as needed to be finalized.
you can always request GCMS notes to see whats exactly holding your file from moving into the next step.there is also a possibility to send case enquiry to cpp-ottawa but not on a weekly basis :)

Feel for you.. thats crazy! Did you order GCMS notes? Those can give you an outlook of whats going on with your app...such as comments from the VO on any concerns. The only thing you cannot see is Security, which is done by CSIS. Get the notes and see what they say.

If you read through the forum, you will see that theres a lot of ppl who got the notes and saw that the VO had concerns. They sent in explanation letters and other supporting documents, and shortly after, moved to the next stage. Its worth a shot. And better than just waiting around for CIC to contact you.
 
Does cic requests RCMP for principal applicants only? Or for dependents as well? Response would be appreciated.

In my case they asked for Principal applicant only.
 
Although I sent my RMCP report with my application in Jan, I received RCMP request on Aug 22/13. I did on the same date and havent heard anything afterwards. ECAS says application received. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
 
GCMS din help much.. My application requires further review. I got query and I responded for it long back.. after that no progress..
