Hi Chandn,

It depends upon your request to the agency.

I did it two times. One for my CEC application and second for FSW.

For CEC: I asked the agency to send the report to my address. Then I sent it to CIC
For FSW: I asked the agency to send it to CIC directly. Agency asked me the FSW file number.

In both the cases, I sent the e-mail to CIC to confirm the documents delivery.

Regards,
Saur

Hi guys

Once again just to make sure

What i understood is that, The private agency will take the fingerprint, then they send it to RCMP then RCMP to CIC. Is that correct?

Please clarify
You can go to a private agency or police station whoever does electronically. In my city it could be done electronically so I did there. Also, only mine was requested while my spouse's was not requested. So dont worry.

I had to pay $35 by CC for this print.Took a week for it to be sent to Ottawa(by police) and was asked to pick again at police station.Same as you read before. Then I sent it through Canada post to CIC.
Hope it is clear..Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks.
