Hi everyone - Just starting a thread on RCMP fingerprints timelines.

Does anyone who recently made FP request to RCMP know how long it is taking these days for them to send FPs?

I did second FP request on 16 Feb and yet no news.

Thanks.

I sent my request yesterday. the finger printing office said 3 business day for RCMP to check and another week for canada post to send this. Hopefully. Ill get this within 2 weeks

There is a considerable delay in the fingerprints processing. I gave them on 17th February and RCMP hasn't processed yet.

As its been over a week, you can call RCMP asking for status. Have you tried calling them

Yes, i sent them an email. They replied saying they haven’t processed yet and cannot provide the timeline when it would be completed.

Can anyone share how to contact RCMP for FP information.
I submitted mine on feb 25 and want to check the status.

The only way to check is by sending an email to CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. Mention your DCN, name and DOB which the agency would have given you.

Folks, IRCC wrote me regarding my fingerprints: "[following up on your RCMP criminal check, we sent you a letter] requesting new fingerprints because the previous one was missing the photo/ photo was invalid".

What does this sound to you?

In their fingerprints request, there was no mention of photos, and the international agency I used (Gambit) itself had it said somewhere that the RCMP does not require photos either (and it has to be true because the RCMP produced the criminal check).

The photo here refers to the one the agency clicks while taking your fingerprints. Didn’t they take one? I think it is pretty standard.

Is it common that one member (Adult) in the family receive a FP request and not the other?

I have applied for Citizenship back in March 2020 and only my spouse received it but I have not received a FP request.

Same with me. Only my spouse has received the RCMP request and I have not.
