Hey folks, i have few questions regarding work experience requirements in RCIP program.

1. Will my outside of canada experience be considered eligible if its a relevant experience.

2. Or do i need full 1 year of experience in canada

One caveat. Unless you have very specialized training it will likely be very difficult to get approved for RCIP without Canadian experience especially in the specific rural area. The goal is to retain those who get approved for RCIP so previous experience living and working in the region is prioritized.

To meet the RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) work experience requirement, applicants must demonstrate relevant professional experience that reflects their ability to advise, support, and represent clients in immigration and citizenship matters. Typically, this involves having worked in a legal, immigration, or customer service environment where applicants have handled client files, conducted research, and communicated effectively with diverse populations
