Oh good! I will give IELTS again because I fell short by just 0.5 marks or else I would have had full marks for IELTS. I got 8 bands, will try for 8.5 now. that will give me 464.

My "ray of hope" is John Mccallums immigration changes. Hoping that it will get implemented soon.

There are around 5000 people waiting for OINP nominations. There cuttoff is not going to fall anytime soon.

Still standing at 471, and also hoping for long awaited September changes. If the scenario will be close to what it was last year, then there truly is hope for the CRS going down to 460 and maybe even 450 by the end of the year.

There is a difference though between those 450-480 temporarily not being enough for the recent ITA rounds, and those under 450, which are not even considered to be in the pool.
I wish you luck though in raising your points or getting a nomination/job offer!

Everyone who can create a express entry profile is in the pool. There is no minimum cuttoff to be part of the express entry pool.

Yep, I guess I got that wrong, my bet.
Nevertheless, there wasn't a single precedent of less than 450 points for almost 2 years now, and unfortunately, with the latest trends the best one could hope for is the round with 450, definitely not less.

The 38th draw cut off at 482 but the number of invites was 747. The 33rd draw invited 799 people and still, the cut off did not go down but increased further up to 534. This to me shows there is hardly any logic to those arguments which go like "more invites = less score". I think it is entirely controlled by them, both the number and the cutoff.

Maybe they have decided to increase the number of ITAs from September. They said it should increase in the Fall 2016, so
the Fall in comming

Usually they have two or more degrees/master, have a few years of Canadian work exp plus foreign work exp, and clb 8 or 9.
