With numbers of ITA so low who knows what they going to award for students ? I'm just afraid that i'll be sitting with once good score here forever without an ITA

Expecting IRCC to act in our favor is deceiving yourself and out of reality. And it prevents us to find real solutions to the situation, e.g. PNP
That was sort of my point too. Because I never said expect IRCC to act in our favour. But on the flipside, assuming that it will NOT go in our favour at all is just like deceiving yourself. Because nobody can know or tell what will happen a month or two down the line. This is why I said actions coupled with hope is the way to go. People here are not hoping based on nothing. Some find themselves in situations where they are not able to do much more for multiple reasons. Sometimes waiting long/ and having patience is probably the only option you have.

From experience international students have poor English, not everybody. Fake degree ? Fake work experience ? What are you talking about ? WES does good job on checking stuff, and work experience can be verified(at least here in US).
I would have done it differently for students beeing in Canada:

Give students work permits, see how they contribute to economy, check their English etc, if they comply give them PR.
I'm just frustrated with EE as a system, it's becoming more of a lottery than an evaluation tool for CIC.
I doubt you have much, if any, experience with international students otherwise you would not have written such utter nonsense here. I’m not even sure if you know what English language even is, if your pathetic English is anything to go by.

I am at 459 , my lawyer screwed me up since past 2 years, he created my EE profile and didn't gave me access to it. At that time my points were 429. Later on when i created my profile by myself in this march it was scoring 464. Since than points are not lowering. My work permit is getting expired in this october. Studied here for 2 years. Working here since 3 years in I.T. My saturation point has reached to a limit , where i feel canada is not for me. They donot deserve me. Feeling disappointing :(

Such a high ITA point is negative and tough for both CEC and FSW. There is no difference here. Be nice, guys

Hope they do not dishearten us with 41st Draw. Afraid they will go worse with a reverse Draw of 754 CRS and 490 ITA !! No wonder they can be that cruel !

can't agree any more. don't know what they are doing now...
Working their a**ess off to reach the deadline for resettling 25k refugees they brought in on a whim, so stop asking why IRCC reduces the number of ITAs per draw since they need to pour all their manpower on this issue.

Liberals on pace to miss Syrian refugee goal by a year

Some refugees are going months without access to proper housing, or unable to get into government-sponsored language classes that will help them to gain the skills needed to get a job and become self-sufficient, said Ms. Kwan.

Some women in particular are becoming isolated in their communities without language skills, she said, a serious concern for those traumatized by the conflict that drove them from their homes.

Now tell me who is more valuable? This? or a foreigner has a "master" degree in some 500+ ranked third world college with no idea what it likes to live in Canada, and cannot get a half decent job after 1+ year landing and leech on social benefits because no one will hire a foreigner with no Canadian experience, not at reasonable wage anyway.
Both are equally valuable. Many foreign immigrants do integrate and blend well as time passes. I have no idea who told you people do not get a decent job and leech on social benefits. If you have the right skills, you will get a proper job. Many people hire foreigners even without any Canadian experience. I came to Canada last year and am earning the same salary as a person who has a Canadian Master's here. I am not even Masters, just a bachelor's from a foreign country.

I always tell people on a postgraduate work permit to get involved in the francophone culture and learn french by the end of your post graduation work permit you can always try for the ontario french caterory. The francophone programs are goin to become strong immigration path ways since employers can hire workers francophones easy with no paperwork i am going to take the test next month to me it is bettet than waiting for scores to drop. Be realistic find other ways. Quebec applications start on the 16th of this month also

Scores may not go down for the foreseeable future.

International students will get extra points once the changes are made to the immigration system. The new rules will push the scores higher even if the number of ITA's increase to 1500 per draw.

I studied here in 2014. I hope I do not get left out if more points will be given to international students. I was one in 2014.

The logical would be to offer extra points for Canadian Degrees and Diploma's.
