Don't forget the amount of invitations will increase with time. Also Canada requires people with Masters & Professional Degrees. They cant be soo reliant on students & French speaking people for the development(No offence to anyone ). No one should lose hope, Canada immigration definitely has some plans for the outlanders. It's just that the competition will be tougher and cutoffs will be high.If it's not a glitch then the scores won't come down to 470s is what I think. Since there will be 1000s of Canadian graduates who will get these additional points and may jump to 480+ scores, it will be hard for outlanders to compete with them from now on without adequate French skills.
Yaa... Let's hope for them to come up with something that can relieve our anxiety. My score is 475, if i max out ielts i can get 481. Is 475 or 481 a safe score now? I am all but hopeless now.Don't forget the amount of invitations will increase with time. Also Canada requires people with Masters & Professional Degrees. I would say 478-481 would be a good score by December end. Next 2 draws are very crucial and will certainly give us a great idea about what's in store for all of us in the future.Yaa... That magic wand might come and be shoved where the sun don't shine for FSW...The way I see it, I dont have numbers for students who went there yearly from 2016-20. Students who went in -19,-20 are not causing a surge risk at this stage considering they are still in College and thus do not have points for canadian experience.
Students before 2016 would have made the PR by now. Students of 2016-2018 would have benefitted and most of them would now have scores between 475-500 (up from 445-470).
Cutoff would stay above 475 unless someone comes with a FSW (Foreign educated) magic wand
Hoping for a negative responseAnyone else got the update in the profile!
I think you are spot on. 475 would be the magic number for 1 year now if there's no more policy changes. The way I see it, I dont have numbers for students who went there yearly from 2016-20. It's not impossible though. You can still get 481 if you are under 30 with 3years of foreign work experience and CLB10 in IELTS.It would make impossible for qualified professionals abroad to migrate to Canada as a FSW.
