That's correct. Canada needs skilled people. The good thing here is not just the government but also the locals are very welcoming and they know the importance of skilled immigrants well at least in countryside.
Is there anyone who can give idea on distribution of crs score from last draw and prediction for most probable FSW draw on 5th August?

Immigration policy will remain fairly consistent under the Conservatives, but they always make it more difficult for immigrants when they are in power. Bill C-24 is a good example of that.

They can always cut immigration numbers as well, because there are some Canadians who think immigration levels are too high. Obviously, post-covid there is a rationale for that as well.

I'm not here to be a debbie downer, but it's important for you guys to know once you're hopefully PRs and future citizens. Conservatives always make life harder for immigrants. And of course, immigration levels should be set first and foremost to the benefit of the country, but we should always support not enacting policies which make it hard for people who want to immigrate.

We don't want to be people who managed to immigrate and then want to close the door on the others who want to follow.

around 476, if you assume the pool is uniformly distributed, put in a more intuitive sense, its probably not evenly distributed, so probably around 473-476

Wow, back to PNP draws. My FSW mates, dont be disheartened, at least now we know that the IRCC has not suspended or dropped FSW draws. FSW draw will happen the only difference is that it may be delayed by a week or two.

Before the next 2 weeks, you will have another 2000 people in the pool, the score will prolly settle at 478 or higher again.

If this is a CEC week, around 1000 of the new 2000 who joined from 470+ will be taken away from the pool. So if it's FSW next time, the total of new entrants since July 8 would be approx. 3000 (this 1000 + 2000 over the next two weeks). I think the score is likely to be around 475-476 in that case.

But these are just pointless analyses right now since we have no clue what category will be drawn from the pool in what week. No point predicting.

Here we go again, an IRCC official! Don't give false hopes to the people here mate.
We will know in another few hours. IRCC has unofficially announced the comeback of FSW draws by the end of summer. I don't think FSW draws will go away anytime soon. Fingers crossed!

I'm not saying that FSWs are going away. It's how few people are giving false hopes who are eagerly waiting.
I had been waiting with false hope for 4 months before the previous round. I know the feeling.
I agree with you. I learnt the hard lesson of not giving myself too much hope.
