all my IELTS material in the link below (scored 8.5 first attempt). Please note that I am highly proficient to begin with. Therefore, if you aren't very confident, do refer to Youtube videos. Additionally:

1. ieltsliz is a great website
2. Study with a partner who's at a level above you preferably. Guided the missus and she scored an 8.5 as well.
3. Practice. There's no way to avoid this - One test a day or if it's on weekends, at least two tests a day.

My prediction for next CRS cutoff 440-441.

601-1200: 180~200
451-600: 1100~1600
441-450: 900~1500

Ofc this is an overly conservative estimate and considering no IELTS result has happened since 25th June, pretty good chance that it might slip to higher 430s. PNPs might pull it up but I doubt it will be above 442.

Hey I have some really good material that I am using. I am sticking to it, as I realize that although there are alot of info for IELTS , it can be very overwhelming if you saturate yourself with different study techniques. Let me know.
If the material is personally recommended by someone who has drastically improved the score by using it, then stick to it.

any tips for writing to get 7 or 7.5 ?
I got R8.5 L9 S7.5 W6.5 & its driving me nuts:rolleyes:
Try Lizielts my friend. Someone improved the score from 6.5 to 8 using her techniques. I am a big promoter of Liz on this forum ,lol, she should pay me for this :P

Meh.
I would disagree with you just a little bit. I am from once was British colonized , but became Republic of ...... country; and english is my native language.I did CELPIP at a previous time, but now the expiration date is very close. I would like to attempt the IELTS since it's a British examination. Information for IELTS super-seeds CELPIP on the internet. This can be an advantage , but it can also be a disadvantage if someone is overwhelmed by it. My suggestion is pace yourself, gather information, and stick to a particular author or video presenter that you are comfortable with. It's your commitment to improve your scores by using the resources that is available.

it's off topic, but has anyone tried to re-evaluate their reading or listening score on celpip? i'm sitting at 435..could be 443 if my listening score changes from 8->9..or it will be just waste of $58 lol.....when will someone at 435 will have a chance?....bc pnp situation isnt good either...o_O

I have heard many said that they were unsuccessful, but if you have the money... try . That's one of the reasons I'm trying IELTS for the first time.
