Tie break of july 2017, does that even make sense?

I guess you are not precise because there is a large gap between 440 and 442!

My point is it wud have been above 440

I don't see much positives from this draw. The amount of people entering every day has increased a lot and probably at its record high at the moment.

March 23 Draw which cleared all above 441. We have 317+2596+1092+200 =4205 profile entering in 441 and above in just 16 days. that is 263 profile entering in that region per day. Now with this amount of profile every two weeks we will have 3682 new profile and even with a 3750 ITAs draw, there is no chance for the score coming down below 441 again.

I want to be positive but don't know how you can see positive from the above mentioned stat. Things looking really bleak for 440 and below scoring people.

Please consider 2 ielts as well

If draw had happened on 6th June, cut off wud still have been around 440-442 as per the pool data available for 8th june. So IRCC wants to maintain above 440 theory and thats the reason draw didnt happen on 6th june is not correct

You seem to have a point in that, as on 8th june there are 4,059 folks with CRS more than 441.

tie brake in July does make a perfect sense. it just shows that some people stopped dragging their foot and went for adding more points. And of course for some others this happened more natural way (a year of work experience completed or studies completed).
Yes 450 is the current safe zone. (for biweekly draws of course).

That theory doesnt have any base, it is just a random theory we want to belive in so that it help us cope with the pressure.

Tried of people keep supporting this stupid theory, even when they have plain data in front of them. What do you call those who doesnt believe despite having clear evidence against their belief? I mean It is clear from the March 08 pool data that a draw even if it had happened on March 07 the cut off would have been above 445 let alone 440.

And now in today's draw we have data from June 08. Which clearly shows we had 4005 profile on 441 and above. Also don't forget we have around 500 left on 440 as well. So there is no way the score would have been below 440 even if a draw had happened in usual 2 weeks gap at June 06.
Why don't people just look at the data instead of coming up with stupid theories.

It's easier to blame others for your shortcomings than to improve yourself.

Do people get the ITA email that fast? I thought it took up to 24 hours to get it

I got mine in less than 2 hours, but many people had to wait much longer. It's been more than an hour since the draw happened, so it's possible people are getting their ITAs now.
