I am on 459 and still didnt receive yet. My status shows submitted since May 2nd 2018. Hope am in the pool.
 
If the express entry profile submission effective date is 5th May, does it mean that it got entered into the pool for this round of invitations?

Yep, the important thing here is the draw date:

Date and time of round: May 9, 2018 at 12:28:41 UTC

Okay that makes sense so all applications that were submitted into the system before the Date and time of round: May 9, 2018 at 12:28:41 UTC are included in the pool.. cool thanks!
