Even if its issued before I departed from that country?
PCC validity of 6 months is only applicable for your current country of residence. For all other countries where you've lived for at least 6 months in a row once in last 10 years (or after you turned 18, whichever is less), you need the PCC issued after you've left that country last time. Long story short, you'll need a new PCC for India.

" Police certificates
To immigrate to Canada, you and any family members who are 18 years old or older must include your police certificates as part of the application for permanent residence. You need one for every country, other than Canada, where you stayed for more than 6 months in a row in the last 10 years since you were 18 years old.

If you need one from the country where you currently live, it must have been issued within the last 6 months.

If you need one from a country where you lived in the past, it must have been issued after you last lived in that country. If it has an expiry date and is now expired, include it. We will let you know if you need a new one.

Will this be considered as misrepresentation? Can i change my answers and still be considered for today's draw?

The PCC from country where I currently live is new, issued in April. But the one issued from my home country, where I don't live anymore, is 3 months old. And I was there on vacation, when they issued my PCC. I left my home country 3-4 days after the PCC was issued. So now?? Those 3 days can create problem for me, I guess. I must get a new one just to be on the safe side.

Well here is the easiest way! Just say "No" to the question where it asks whether you want to answer the research questions or not (I guess that's the first question) and all the questions will go away.

Done. Profile updated and submitted. Will they ask me the same questions after ITA for research purposes?

By the way, I only visited my home country only once (for 5 weeks) in past 1.5 years, which was 3 months ago. A week before my flight, I applied for PCC and got it exactly 3 days before departure. So, need expert opinion on this matter now.

You need to get PCC for a country which is not your residence from outside of it i.e. not while you are visiting it.

Yes, but don't worry, i think research questions are not that important. I checked a few after receiving ITA, which were all true. So as long as you don't claim something which is not ture, it will be okay.

How long before the ITA do I need to have funds in my account? I mean I had my money deposited in my father's account as it was offering more profit, and I might get selected in the next draw (sitting on 438)!
Do I need to transfer funds before the ITA or I can do it anytime afterwards without any problem (as they only care about you having funds, not when or how long fir)?

Also, what would be the route to do so? Would simple transfer to my account and getting a statement afterwards be enough or do I have to call it gift deed or something else and get documentation for that? Thank you!
(I tried finding the answer to my question in other threads but it's all too confusing with gift deeds, FD and some even saying you just have to show funds at the arrival etc).

MAY 9, 2018 - DRAW PREDICTION:

I have come up with the prediction for the 89th draw.

If it happens today (May 9) with:
3500 ITAs - CRS 440
3750 ITAs - CRS 440
4000 ITAs - CRS 439

The variance in the above calculation is +/- 2 CRS.

Please find below the CRS cut off in case the number of ITAs issued is more/less than the predicted ITA count:

I let my ITA expire because of this thing. In the nutshell, any big transaction must be supported by some proper proof of funds. If you can prove that you transferred the money to you father's account for better IRR, then good, else, make him sign a gift deed and chill :)

Thank you, got it.. Gonna get it again but not from India, as I have never been to India :P

What was the change in CRS ?
lost 5 points. If you receive ITA before your birthday, the points are then locked, and it doesnt really matter if you turn older. But if you are in the pool, you lose some points. You can check online and calculate the points for your age, and the potential deduction in case your birthday is around the corner.
