That's a good news, but I was just thinking that there are now, almost 100,000 applicants in the pool.. welcome everyone by the way :p
Did you calculate the rate at which the applicants with 440+ scores are entering the pool this year?
There are a couple of other people who calculate the rate of new applicants entering the pool each draw. Look on page 1 and page 4. I used the figures from alexross on page 4 as well as the pool distribution on CIC website to do my calcs. For the most recent figures from alexross has calculated 187ppl/day entering the pool above 430. Over a two week period that is only 2618ppl, thus with 3500 draw we will be taking a lot of people out of the 430-440 range each draw.

Even if you use a more conservative figure, because 187ppl/day is the lowest it has been for a while, say you use 220ppl/day that is still only 3000 people every two weeks above 430 entering the pool. So as long as CIC maintain 3500 draw, every two weeks or better, we will get through everyone in 430 in around 6 months time IMO.

Hi, can anybody help me with this query:

I've got a three years diploma in Business Administration already recognized by WES and I have just finished a 2 years diploma in Accounting. Different institutions but related areas. I'm still waiting for translation of my Diploma and grades to send to WES and get ECA for this 2 years accounting diploma. My question is : Will I get the level of : Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees (one must be three years) thus, claim points for this level ? Or Will I remain in my current level : Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institut

Found this information on CIC website but still confused:

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

Important notice: One must be for a program of three or more years.

ECA assessment results:
A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree
PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or:

  • Post-Bachelor's Certificate
  • Post-undergraduate certificate
  • Post-Bachelor's Diploma
  • Post-undergraduate diploma -- could my recent 2 years diploma fall into this description?
  • Graduate Certificate
  • Graduate Certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
  • Postgraduate certificate
  • Postgraduate Diploma
  • Graduate Diploma with a focus in [area of concentration]
  • Graduate diploma
  • two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in [name of discipline]
  • two-year Bachelor’s after degree with a focus in [area of concentration]
  • one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]
  • Dual Bachelor’s degree (four years)

Should i write to WES directly? will they respond queries? Don't wan't to wait 2 months and pay WES fees if at the end I won´t get my education level upgrade

Sorry about endless entry
All the best ;):p:rolleyes:
I had a similar ECA. My ACCA was assessed as a 4-year bachelors and my 2 year B.A and 2 year CA foundation were evaluated as 2-year diploma each. They awarded me 119 points for education.(two or more credentials)

Hi everyone!!!! I am very restless and worried.

Predictions for tomorrow's draw??????
I think it will either be 440 or 439 with a tie break. Most probably 440. Only one more day to go. What's your score?

Yes, I checked that graph out last night. It looks like a cycle, going up and down every month. I think we should analyze the previous year's data as well in order to find a trend.

Hey all, any one has an idea on what would IRCC check in the Medical examination? Like.. on what grounds would PR get rejected because of medical reasons?
I love your IELTS score by the way. Made-to-order kind for CIC :p

Thanks very much for sharing the info...I did my medicals a couple of weeks back and was concerned what effects would my smoking history bring to my profile .... :)
Me too, but still didn't lie to the doctor when he asked me questions regarding my smoking habits. If CIC starts rejecting people due to their smoking history, then there will hardly be anyone left in the pool :p
