My profile was created in August 2017 with CRS 427. In January, because of my birthday it came down to 421. But now, after IELTS re-attempt and sibling reference it became 439. So, will an update impact the tie breaking rule?
Yes. Should be the time and date your score got updated as well.

Thanks for replying Aarti123. I saw that but guess that is mainly for education from a different country.
In my case I have done my distance education from Jalandhar and was doing full time job in Pune. I am confused whether to write Jalandhar or Pune.

ohhh they asking you for different cities? i think its only country of study they ask for

really? i dont think so. i think its the date you first submitted your application. Someone else can please confirm this??
Not the first date, if the score changes so does the submission date, otherwise there is no point of tie breaker.

I think not..I recently updated my profile and the date that I submitted the profile for the first time didnt change. Also planning on taking IELTS again. 9,9,8.5 and 7..can improve it to 8 or 7.5 insha Allah..btw My score is also 439. Down from 444, thanks to my birthday earlier this year.

HI

1. Unlikely as there are as of April 18 9440 in the pool with scores of 431 and above.
yeah but 3500 of them are gone, right? Only a few bad planners (like me) would let go of their ITA and join the pool again.

Write whatever is written on your degree/certificate. I had the same issue, but I just mentioned the city where my university was actually located. Didn't mention the school/college where I studied. WES ECA is done, so I filled my EE forms using the same info.

Hi Guys,
I would appreciate your suggestions.
I have taken ielts couple of times now. I also scheduled anther attempt for 30th June.
Recently, i took exam in April and got the results today. I would say i am not happy with my writing score . I am not sure what went wrong this time as 6 is lowest i have got so far and totally unexpected.

Should i go for re-marking ?

Today's results are
Listening : 8.5
Speaking : 8.0
Reading : 7.0
Writing :6.0

Previous attempt
Listening : 7.5
Speaking : 8.0
Reading : 7.5
You may get lucky the third time and get the best of both results, Insha Allah.. I would say try again. I had attempted IELTS Academic 2 years ago, and now IELTS General for Canadian Immigration. My results are comparable. I think I scored 9 (R) ,8.5 (L), 8(S) and 7.5 (W) on IELTS Academic, and 9(L), 9(R), 8.5 (S), 7 (W) on IELTS General. So,the margin of improvement is very small, imo, but better luck next time. I am also gonna attempt once more after the next draw. Let's see if the cut-off score comes down a little or remains above 441.

Hi guys

Please someone clear my doubt. I have score of 441 which is been updated on May 1,18 because I completed 3 years of work experience in Canada. My question is I started my work in the month of June 2015. So technically its not 3 years but cic updated my points in the May itself. Should i wait or apply if i get ITA in the next draw.
All the best for everyone who is waiting for ITA
Yes, just wait till the end of June 2018, and then submit your documents after receiving ITA. You didn't update your points, CIC did. So I think, you are safe.

Hi Karthik, I am in same boat . Please ping me on my email: ausbsnl@gmail.com

Hello Everyone!
What a pleasant morning it is. Just recieved my IELTS score and got 8877 in LRSW, which takes my CRS to 480. Surely I will be getting ITA on next Wednesday.

I have a query -
my spouse is a canadian citizen but We are not in talking terms for more than a year now. Also, she had previously withdrew spouse sponsership application where she was sponser and I was sponsered person.

What documents do I need to submit for my spouse? I'm sure she won't provide any help or information. Rather she would make all efforts to make things difficult for me.

Also, would previous withdraw of spouse sponsership application make any negative impact on my PR file now??

Kindly advice. Thanks in advance.
My spouse is not a Canadian, but I was given a long checklist of her documents after receiving ITA. IELTS, Medical, WES Report, Passport, IC, Degrees, work experience letters etc. In case of a relative in Canada, they ask for their IC, passport, address, utility bills etc..I don't know what will become of your application without all these things. Write your problem in the "Letter of Explanation", and hope for the best. By the way, the best option is to patch up with him/her and get everything uploaded in time (90 days post ITA).
