Hello family, cut off was 446, my CRC was 449. Received my ITA today. My first ITA was in December. I submitted my application for PR in March, this month. Observed some mistakes and withdrew my application this month. Now that I have another ITA, can I submit my application now. Cos, I haven't got any reply of my withdrawal nor any refund yet. So won't have two applications in the pool. Secondly, my first reference number was written on my medicals, how do I switch it? Or do I do another medicals? Thanks a lot..
Hi just to help others can u pl guide what type of mistakes u made. Thanks in advance

Am a medical dr n work in the health ministry, got my pay slips from them, my husband scanned everything n submitted. Some days after, I rechecked the documents, observed that the year to date of my pay slips was for someone else, not me. And it was the same repition for all the months. Was quite stupid. Also, some documents scanned were photocopies, got to find out one has to scan only originals. Decided to withdraw n to re apply not to cause unnecessary delays. Tks

So if you do over your ielts exam you have to create a new profile or that's online for expired ones? I thought you could just update the current one?
Once my score expired it showed my profile is ineligible automatically. I could not find the option of updating the score and making it eligible. If there is I might have missed. But I did create a new profile afresh with new score

Hi All,

I got ITA on 14th march, and in the process of uploading documents, I am employed in the same company since the beginning, but I was working in a different country . In work history i have mentioned it separately as
2012 - 2015 (india)
2015 - 2017 (Brazil)
2017 -till Date (India)

So while uploading documents , its asking for 3 different Employment reference documents for these 3 entries. But since its the same company I have only 1 employment reference. Please suggest what should be done in this case. Should I upload the same documents in all 3. Or should I change my work history ?
This a very common scenario, specially if you have worked on onsite assignments. I was confused with the same as I was employed with multiple companies and served in multiple countries as well, one of them being Canada itself at some point of time. If you think about it and look at the question clearly, you will realize it's not that confusing though. What it is asking you there is to list your "Work History". Stressing on the part in quote. It does not ask you your residence history. There is separate specific section just for that purpose.

If you have worked for the same company from beginning, you need to add only 1 company in your work history with start date from 2012 till date. Of course when you get your letter from your company it will mention the same that you worked from 2012 till date.
It does not make any difference to Canada if part of your work experience was in Brazil. This is different however when you answer the question on which countries you have been in your travel history. You need to mention Brazil as well and also provide police clearance if applicable. This will be later verified based on entry exit stamps on your passport.

In my case I was claiming points for Canada experience so I mentioned it separately and supported with documents from Canada HR of same company who had already given me letter from India HR for overall experience in India (India HR letter - 2006 to 2012, Canada HR letter - 2010 to 2011). For my current company I started working from India and now working in US I gave only 1 letter. Hope it helps.

Hey guys.. quick help .. in personal activities section, if you were waiting for a job to start for a small period (a month), do you fill the activity type as unemployed? Apologies if it's already been discussed before

Best way is to go with the correct info and technically it was unemployment period. How long was the wait. There was a period of 16 days in my career where my last day in one company and date of joining in the next were 16 days apart. Since it only asks for month and year, my activity end date for one company was 2011-12 and activity start in other was 2012-01. Worked fine for me. However, if this does not apply to you and your wait time was for extended period, better to call out that period and specify exactly what you were doing during that time so IRCC do not get unnecessary doubts.

Thanks for the detailed response. Did you supplement this with LoE , or is it not required ?

In your case I think it is an option to apply for re evaluation (re-mark) in writing module because your other modules are high and you already got 7 before... it is expensive and long but doable...
Just my opinion....
I would suggest reappear for ielts .. i wasted 3 months for revaluation and d score remained unchanged... revaluation also costs money ...my score were 8 in l/r/s and 6.5 in writing .

For this scenario LOE is not required. I did provide an LOE but to explain that few HR letters did not have detailed role & responsibilities which I had supplemented with email from colleagues. I did not provide any explanation with respect to Work History vs Residence history as such. However, if you feel this is the only place you need to explain and other details are all clear, you can mention this in a LOE and upload.

I have no idea what a guarantor is, but if a broke student can do the job, I'm in. I'm in downtown Toronto.
A broke immigrant here, LOL! See you soon :)

Hi, Is it possible to go ahead with medicals as i have booked it for 10th (GYD health, Hyderabad) as i was sure of getting an ITA (CRS-471) yesterday :D:p. So that didn't happen. I tried to reschedule after 14th but the dates available are quite late which is not feasible for me. (suddenly! all dates available before 14th) The site mentions only UCI no # and passport required for medicals. Will call them up tomorrow and confirm anyway. Just wanted to ask if anybody got their upfront medicals done?

regards
How was your experience? Which is better GYD or CMM? When do they upload reports
