The 2 year gap you explain in personal history. The jobs for which you are not claiming points (no reference letters) you put in personal history. You will need to account for all your time in the past 10 years (or since age 18 if you're under 28).
Should be after ITA i think. Current application doesn't provide the option of separating the work experiences. Thanks!

Same dilemma here, though even if my husband gets a job before we move we'll still want to live in a part of the city where I can get my own job without having an unreasonable commute. Add to that not having rented in years, and even then not in a competitive or expensive market, and we're very intimidated. I'm half-convinced we'll end up in a bug-infested hellhole unless we pay well over 2k/month. I'm hoping a few acquaintances I have in the area can point me to some good but affordable apartments, and we'll likely try using a realtor too.

Our backup plan if city life doesn't agree with us is to head over to the Kitchener-Waterloo area. That and the nearby cities sound a lot more like what we're used to, but they have fewer jobs and we want to try out city life anyway. That said, if my husband networks himself into a job we'll go wherever in Ontario that takes us. Staying in Ontario is pretty much a must for us though.

Application-wise, we have everything uploaded except for our FBI PCCs, which could arrive as early as today. I feel like we're at the top of a roller coaster and about to tip over the edge! When we took the first step of booking our IELTS tests back in January we had no reason to think we'd be at this point any time soon, if at all (our 435 wasn't bad, I mean, but we had absolutely no way in our own power to raise it beyond that). It's very surreal being here, and we're so grateful for this chance!
Wow! I hope we'll get to meet up there. I'll be in school in downtown Toronto.

Wow, a lot of posts these last couple of days! :D

I haven't been around too much these past days because I didn't want to think too much about the draws, but now I'm ready for tomorrow!

Good luck everyone and congrats @ivancabrer for your nomination! well deserved!
¡Gracias Hermano!
(Thank you brother!)

Let's hope these guys at IRCC start issuing more ITAs so that every good person in this thread could get their invitation ASAP. :p

I have heard not even a peep from job bank. Try the major job boards like Workopolis, WowJobs, Indeed.ca, and linkedin. StartupNorth also has job postings from startups:

Ivan, how are you doing today, with Hurricane Maria striking? I read it's category 5
Hey @trumprefugee
It's getting stronger. But it's suppossed to affect only the northern region, if it doesn come near our island.
With most hurricanes, we always have the good fortune that they go north and only bring some rain.
I hope this one does the same.

It is so sad what has happened to the Lesser Antilles with Irma, and now Maria is striking them again.
I wish they could have our good fortune with the weather.

Even I have 7-8 months gap after my graduation and then I worked for 1 year for which I only have experience letter. And for that job I'm not claiming any points. After that I worked for a company for 4 years and that was continuous work ex in same NOC. I have mentioned that and then my current job. So what should I do in this case? Please throw some light on this as well.
I don't see any problem here? If you have reference letters for your current job and your previous 4 year job, you're all set for work experience. Since you already have experience letter for your 1 year job, you can claim points for it in the employment section too (even though it won't add points). Post ITA, you will put your 7-8 months post graduation gap under personal history.

i don't think it will cause a problem if your ECA evaluations gives points for the CA inter degree despite being a distance education or whatever.

Why not claim points for period after you finished CA inter ? 3 years should be enough, right ?
Yes WES does recognise it coz its a professional course and most of them are distance learning. But any which ways I have shown all my experience since Jan 2011 in my EE profile. Lets see how it goes. Will put it in LOE.

Hey, my fellow Americans @tjsecondtry and @moose17 ! If my job offers hadn't fallen through, I would be in Toronto now. Toronto is still my first choice, and I hope I'll get to meet you both next year.

Hi @trumprefugee I have 1.5 year experience after graduation but that was in skill level C so I am NOT claiming points for that, then a 1 year gap, and now I am currently working since last 1.5 years in skill level A role, I'll be completing 2 years in December. I have made my profile and it says I have met the requirements and I am eligible. There shouldn't be any issues post ITA right? Considering I only have 1.5 years of experience, would it be a problem?
