Very true, and something I have already seen first hand. The one positive thing I can see already from this stressful delay on my Canada plans is I get to save up significantly more money. Even if I find a good job right away in Canada, I will be making about 60-70% of what I'm making here in the US after accounting for exchange rate. And my master's degree suddenly became valuable in this immigration process. I had not originally intended to get a master's degree and kind of accidentally got what I had thought was a useless one on the side for another purpose. But it's the reason I even have a chance at the Canadian immigration this year. Without the master's degree, my CRS would have been 370 instead of 410.

Mate, except master's degree, why do I always feel you're speaking my mind? :D:D

Whenever I wanna right something, you seem to have already written it. ;);)

Excuse me, what is AC?

And the plans we make, the dreams we built, the happiness we search for!!!!
It all boils down to one thing- life is never certain.
We prepare for unseen future without knowing what might happen tomorrow.
Man proposes, God disposes.
PS: not for atheist though.

Where are you located? If you guys don't normally see snow, your kids will be in for a fun surprise. Kids love to play in the snow.

I think I'll be playing in snow myself, let alone my kids. By the way, I don't have any kids.

It's not like I haven't seen snow before. Like I mentioned, I'm not made for tropical weather. Winters are always refreshing for me and snow is always blissful. I would love to bury few bottles of beer in snowy front yard of my house and cool it down. :p:p:p

I'd assume I just ignored what you said. I just wanna stay positive and hoping our dreams will be turned into reality.

We have seen snow, though not the flakes type, floating around and sitting on your head and kids nose and hair.
These winters we are again coming down without kids as there is no PR. So no studies and settling down for them. They will be staying back.

Yeah, too cold is better than too hot, because you can make it through the cold with more layers of clothing and moving around, and these days there are high tech fabrics that help keep you even warmer. But when it's too hot, you can only take off so much clothing, and then you're just boiling in a puddle of sweat ...

Felicitaciones, mi amigo!!! I know you have been anxiously waiting for a while. Did you get notification from Ontario or did you first see it in your EE profile?

That's good to see that they are nominating the late July early August non-ICT NOC code folks these days, after the last 2 weeks of nominating many <400 ICT workers. I hope this means they are wrapping up with the existing applications and will reopen soon for those of us who missed the July 25 deadline.

Congratulations to you.
As @trumprefugee rightly mentioned , they have started wrapping up the loose ends and getting ready to issue new ones. Hoping all the best for you.

Gracias hermano!
Yes, I've been very anxious.
I got the email from IRCC, and then checked both IRCC and Ontario's portal, and they were both updated.

This is indeed a good sign for everyone waiting, I think exactly as you said. They must be wrapping up now.
If not this week, maybe next week they could be reopening for applications.
Be sure to check periodically, because there seems to be many NOI recipients anxiously waiting, so you must be very fast to register your Ontario ONe-Key account.

Regards.

Oh yes, in addition to having a couple automated processes checking the page and emailing me alerts, I manually check the Ontario updates page at least 10 times a day and log in at least once a day to see if I can submit an application! I have OINP OCD disease ... o_O
