Thanks for the help and concern guys. I think it is better to wait only then till december.. hopefully she gets a nomination from BC and Ontario.. and good luck for coming draw :) :D
Yes. Once she has 2 years of work experience in December, her score will go up 2 points to 68 and she will be eligible.

There are some provincial nomination programs that do not require you to be in the EE pool, such as Saskatchewan's Occupation In-Demand stream:
http://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-occupations-in-demand
But I would recommend that she wait until December.

I lived in Brisbane Australia for 2 1/2 years.

I found the people to be very xenophobic. I'm white and English and I was still shunned. Our Indian friends obviously got it a lot worse and I couldn't imagine how hard it would be for a black family.

The cost of living was incredibly high, mindblowingly high.

The heat in Brisbane was too much for me. 30 degrees centigrade at 6am while walking to the bus stop.. hell no

On the positive side the crime was minimal, someone stole our plants from our front verge and a hosepipe connector, oh and my wife's smokes from our backyard table. But that was the extent of any crime we saw/experienced while we were there. The city is very clean, if not a bit small, and the beaches and themeparks were amazing. The parks are still something my kids remember fondly.

I know many people who love it there, I think I would have been more suited to Sydney or Melbourne personally but when we decided to come back to South Africa in 2010 we had a better style of life here than in Australia. I've never regretted the decision to move back but unfortunately over the last 4(ish) years the political corruption and issues have taken on a nasty racial aspect and my kids chances of having a decent university experience are now too slim to remain.

Anyone interested in what's going on in the political sphere in South Africa can google Zuma Gupta Bell Pottinger and you will have a field day reading about rampant political and economic corruption.
Thanks for sharing, Gavin. Just the heat is a deal breaker for me! One of the reasons I want to move to Canada is because the summers here in New York are too hot for me. Note to all of you who are fearing Canadian winters: too cold is better than too hot. When it is too cold, you just need to layer up properly and move around. When it is too hot, there's only so much you can take off, and if you're still sweating like a pig, well, too bad.

I also have the same question as @ishq74 about why you do not want to return to the UK, if you're English?

This might be a personal question but I am bit curious please don't mind. What makes you not to live in UK or any good European country? I lived in UK for about 8 years and liked it very much, just couldn't managed to get PR due to strict difficult immigration laws. Why do you think Canada is better place than countries like UK and Germany?
Definitely not a personal question.

I'm married with 2 kids and my wife and I lived in London when our eldest was born. We left London to raise her in South Africa as the quality of life here (for the reasonably well off) is unmatched. Large houses, big gardens and cheap food. Also, the family is here so that was a selling point.

My hesitance to go back now is the cost of getting a decent house in England puts me off as well as the weather.

Canada appeals to me due to their liberal views on immigration and diversity as well as being situated so close to the powerhouse of the Eastern United States for business as well as access to some of the best universities in the world.

Along with their lifestyle of larger houses and land, I am worried about the weather though.

I have thought about Germany but the current rise of the political right in Europe worries me a bit and I see Canada as the safest political country for at least the next few decades.

What about draw?as now m in my senses m thinking about the Wednesday:rolleyes:
Yes, I think a draw is likely this Wednesday, as it will have been the normal for this time of year 2 weeks since the previous one. Let's hope they keep increasing the number of ITAs as the fall season gets into full swing and 2018 quotas get set.

Thanks a ton for quick revert @Racbil. Some alterations will be needed as I need to obtain this letter from a previous employer (unfortunately the organization is no longer operational).

Shall I get the company seal of his present organization or simply get a signature and get the letter notarized?

Has anybody saved crs distribution from previous draw ? Please post so we can compare how much are left in 430+ range.

I think from 30 August onwards, daily of 200 people with 435+ were added to pool. If same rate continues, on 20 September 2017 we might see a draw with roughly same ITA and 434 crs.

here is the updated one

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of August 30, 2017

CRS Score Range Number of Candidates
601-1200
247
451-600 570
401-450 12,123
441-450 216
431-440 924
