If you have time, then please clarify one more thing!
Is it mandatory that your work experience and education sould be linked and related while applying for PR?
Like, I Have done Bachelors in Commerce (for graduation) and MBA (in finance and marketing) but I started my work carrer as a full time online maths tutor (taught students in London, UK) and have worked on this profile for 1 year and then I got promoted to Academic Trainer (known as vocational trainer in Canad under NOC 4021 and Subject Matter Expert in Lindon, UK) and now I am working as an Academic Trainer (training the teachers who take IELTS classes).
The consultancy through whom I have applied for PR, they say everything is okay, but, I have heard a lot about this that your case gets rejected if your studies and work experience are not related. I am really disturbed since the day I have heard this, I wanted to clarify it once.
Please let me know if you have any idea about this, I would be really thankful to you.

Awww man your case is so much similar to mine! I studied Bachelor of Business and then MSc in International Business followed by MBA. Been working as an education counselor for abroad studies for nearly year and half. I am also bit concerned, not for qualification and work thing but the place where i work. I work for a private education consultancy rather than a school/college or university. From my research and relentless questioning to legalfalcon, you do not need to worry as long as your duties and responsibilities matches extensively for your selected NOC. That's the most important thing. All the best

No kidding. She said that when old folks start to eat canned soup every night for dinner, they don't last. Fortunately, we have much better options than canned soup. But who knows the long term effects of the chemicals in frozen dinners.

Work reference letter, as you may know is one of the mandatory document for the express entry. Unfortunately such document can only be obtained by co-ordinating with your employer.

There were many anecdotes and instances where an employers pay no heed to the employee's request. Under such circumstances, applicant will compose an affidavit where the contents are pretty synonomous to the standard Work reference letter, the difference is, it has to sound like your senior peer/manager drafted such letter. To instill an autheticity to such affidavits, get the respected person's signature along with their business card and get it notarized.

Unfortunaltely this is the only tested alternative which could convince the visa officer. Also note that, compensation letter, recent promotion letter, salary slips were also furnished to substantiate your claim.

Thanks for reply. So basically this affidavit will be signed by someone who is not part of that organisation. Is my understanding correct??
Or you mean from same organisation - some close friend , so that he can vouch for my case if an investigation is set up by immigration officer?? Is this what u meant??

Yeah i understand ! I had a reference letter and copy of contract (i don't know if that's required for EE as well ) one employer prepared those in 2 days ! the others , said "ok we are working on those" and i'm waiting for more than a month now ! completly ignoring my emails .. !

For OINP, I spent a few hours preparing reference letters for 4 different employers and then asking them to sign and prepare for me. One of them prepared the letter the same day! Two others took a week or less. The most important one took almost 2 weeks, but at least I got the letter after following up with a couple people. So now I have the reference letters for OINP and post ITA, but unfortunately I did not have the foresight to register for OINP immediately after getting the final reference letter, as it closed less than day after. So I'm still waiting both for OINP to reopen and then for ITA.

I have heard that depending on your location, it can take some time to schedule a medical exam. CIC allows you to get your medical exam before ITA. See "Get your exam before you submit your application" under "When to get your exam":

However, some doctors might require you to have ITA first, so you would need to check with the individual doctor. I am planning to get medical exam as soon as I receive Ontario nomination, maybe even before.

Translation of foreign (not in English or French) documents can get delayed if you have any documents that need translation. The translation service I used for OINP told me it would take probably 24 hours but up to 48 hours. Instead, it took almost a week to receive my translation, and then I had to keep following up to receive the certified, notarized copy.

As others have mentioned, there can be significant delays in getting FBI PCC for the US, although if you are a US citizen or permanent resident, you can go through channelers with a 1 week turnaround time.

New people are entering all the time with scores greater than 430. The only thing that will lead to lower scores is a higher number of ITAs

The problem is CIC could not verify the documents that the EE candidates input. So I think there are amount of unverified candidates around 5-10% each round ~ 300-400 applicants. This issue leading to the false variant of the CRS each round up to 2->5 points. For example the last #70 draw the real CRS could be 430 instead of 434.

To back up this argument please see the decline rates from EE ~ 40%.

Also, personally I think this is a loophole and need to be addressed since it'll creates a fair environment for the EE pool.

Hi seniors,
I want your opinion about whether it is enough to show just the minimum work experience needed for maximum points?

I ask because I have 10 yrs experience but with total of 4 companies. My exp with my current company goes back to 6 yrs so if I just show my current company's exp it will already fetch me max crs. It will be easier to just take reference letter from one employer instead of all 4.
Plus one of my previous employers with whom I worked for 1 yr has been bought by another company, so it won't be so easy to get RL from them.

I just want to be sure that it won't be a misrepresentation of faCTS?
Has anyone of us done a similar practice and got through with it fine?
