CRS is unlikely to go below 420 untill November, if draws continue be conducted fortnightly. My predictions based on fortnighly draws
13/07 - 439
27/07 - 434
10/08 - 431
24/08 - 429
07/09 - 427
21/09 - 426

These figure would however change significantly if a draw is conducted weekly somewhere down the line.
Just about anyone, their crows, their cows and their chicken are now beginning to predict CRS draws. It must be the adulteration in the bird feed that makes those birds come up with such predictions. Because definitely sane and well fed minds won't come up with such hot air..........
There should be a law banning all newbies from making such predictions or asking my CRS is 675 will I get an ITA in the next draw

Hi guys!

I am a bit unclear about the 70k ITA target set by the govt.

There are 51k appx ITA's issued until now. Since many people will not go ahead with their profiles or could be incorrect profiles the actual number of intakes v.s ITA could be different.

So is the 70k target just for ITA issuance or for giving PR's?
CIC has never revealed the target number of ITAs they will issue in a year. The targets set are for the number of immigrants they plan to have in each year.

Below are the targets for 2017 under each of the categories:
FSW+FST+CEC = 71,700
PNP = 51,000

1 ITA does not mean 1 PR.

In case primary applicant + spouse is applying, 1 ITA = 2 PRs

Also, there are those who decline ITAs and those who get refused after applying, which means not all ITAs are converted to PRs.

So we can never calculate the exact number of ITAs CIC is planning to issue.

Hey guys,

How long it usually takes to get AOR?
Can I quit my job after getting AINP and be a jobless? I have already applied for a PR and sent all documents to a Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, NS. I am an inland applicant. Does it affect my application and my application is being refused? Thanks for your answers!

Hello Friends
I started Phd from a school in US on F1 visa. Since the degree is not completed and is still going on and since I do not have WES evaluated ECA for this, I did not mention it in my Express Entry Profile. My CRS score is 405. I got Provincial Nominee letter from Ontario and started filling their form. They are asking for my current occupation. Should I mention that I'm pursuing Phd? If yes, should I update my EE profile also?

Hey guys,

Ill be in the pool on August 29th with approx 425-430 points depending what I get in my IELTS exam ofcourse (taking it at the end of this month). Any chance I could qualify for OINP? I would go through the Canadian experience class. Only thing i dont have is a masters degree. I just have a canadian diploma. Btw im barely 22 years old lol.

Here is some analysis I have done. Would like to share it with everyone!
1. Assumption :-
a. Draw happens on 12th July
b. 3400 ITAs are issued

  • SLAB ~22nd June ~Daily Run Rate ~Pool 28th ~12th July (prediction)
>600 355 16 452 203
451-600 2216 101 2820 1,233
441-450 809 37 1030 1,471
431-440 1082 49 1377 1,967
421-430 1172 53 1492 2,131
411-420 1968 89 2505 3,578
401-410 4432 201 5641 8,058

~ had to color code, since I wasn't able to insert the excel / image

It should be 438+-2 points at most.

Really really need to pray that there are weekly draws and more ITA's. Thats the only way the CRS will drop, and the 431-440 band will clear up and move to 411-420 and so on to get the scores finally down to 400.
Your predicted CRS cut off for this draw looks somewhat similar to my analysis.

But one thing you have missed to consider is that at the lower CRS ranges the counts won't jump as much as you are estimating because there are those who improve scores and jump to a higher CRS which is resulting in those new candidates with higher CRS.

For example, somebody @ CRS 410 would have jumped to CRS 455 due to improved scores in IELTS thereby reducing the number of applicants @ CRS 401-410 range.

Hi Andie!
There were 4K in the pool till 22nd June. Per day there are about 200 that are added. So until July 12th, that would add appx 4k more to the exiting base of 4K.
Therefore 8k...
4112 candidates were in the pool in the CRS 401-410 range on May 26. After 27 days, 4432 candidates were in the pool in the range CRS 401-410 range on Jun 22.

So in 27 days, the net increase in the number of candidates in the range CRS 401-410 = 4432 - 4112 = 320

So the per day average intake of candidates (with CRS 401-410) into the express entry pool = 320/27 = 12

Assuming the same net increase from June 22 till July 12, around 240 more candidates would be in the CRS range of 401-410 making the total around 4672 which is nowhere close to your estimate of 8000.

I guess you have considered 0 as your start value for this particular range which is not correct. There has never been a draw with a CRS lesser than 413.

I'd say that Ontario's NOI is a good indicator (although not 100% of course) for the upcoming draw: NOIs give candidates 600pts and thus a guaruantee to receive ITA. That's the point for Ontario to send them right before the draw.
NOI is Notification of Interest from Ontario and is not the approved nomination.
Unless the candidate applies for the nomination after receiving the NOI and the processing takes place successfully, the candidate does not get the 600 points.
I guess you got confused between NOI and nomination.
