NOC Code......

thank you for your time!
I am wondering how they select me for OINP with my work exp from 06-08-2005 to 09-09-2009 on my primary occupation?
do you think they select me for CEC option?
they basically go by the noc & do not check the details...
if you are above 400(now even below 400 also), and your primary noc is of interest to them they will send you NOI...however subsequently your application may be rejected (most likely) as ur experience falls out of last 5 years as they require 1 year experience within last 5 years...no point in pursuing..

even I have received NOI but I have only part year experience within last five years and hence will not pursue OINP as upon scrutiny I'll be declined and will lose my $1500...
----
I assume provinces look at primary NOC only for nominations as it is defined as 'the occupation which the candidate is basing his PR application...so it is unlikely that they have sent you the NOI for the CE..
it is likely that they have missed your experience dates as that details may not have been part of the first filter criteria for them...

Hello everyone, my name is Nivid Vaidya and my CRS total is 406. My NOC is 2173 (Software Engineer). I was wondering if I have to do anything else for Ontraio OINP other than creating an 'Express Entry' profile.?
Do you guys think CRS score will reach 406 this year?

Thanks.
if you've not yet created, create one asap as Ontario is issuing NOI to ur NOC...all you've to do is create an EE profile...
anyway they had been issuing NOI on a weekly basis to fresh EE profiles above 400,but since this week they are additionally issuing NOIs to select professions even below 400 pts...

I have created EE profile back on April 28th, 2017. If I delete that and create new one, I'll be pushed back in stack in express entry pool. So I am confused. Should I delete current profile and create new one?

I love speaking too :) More than 50% of my current work involves speaking and listening. Unfortunately its in my native language. I like writing too, listening i can conquer by enough practice but reading is starting to be a bit of a challenge lol.
And guess what!!!iam a pure house wife taking care of 2 kids :) hahaha....but stil for me speaking is no issue!!i got 8.5 in my last attempt :) but apart from that rest of the modules are a big problem :(

Yes, I still believe it can go down to 380's or 390's range by the end of the year. If there are 3 Draws in July then scores will go down below 420 and in August below 410. After that Nominations from all provinces will already be used and therefore, we can expect a low number of new applicants above 450. This can lead to scores going down below 400 in October/November.

If there is a draw on July 5th then I expect scores to decline at least by 14 points.
Thats great!!!lets hope for the best :)

Agreed....

OINP only filter the candidates based on NOC codes. They do not consider anything else while sending NOI to the applicant. That is why, they clearly mention in the NOI letter, that a applicant has to check the minimum criteria of OINP, before accepting the NOI and OINP is not responsible if you do not fulfill any criteria.

Just withdraw your existing profile and create a new one. Then you will get the NOI in a week at max.

BUT CONSIDER THIS BEFORE APPLYING TO OINP:
Right now some applicants are considering OINP as best option against waiting for regular FSW draws. And they apply for OINP before having any second thought in hope to get the ITA asap. But generally they do not check the criteria and documentation involved in OINP process. Fulfilling these requirements is very cumbersome and if you do not fulfill any criteria then your time and $1500 will go in vain.

So kindly look into the requirement before applying to OINP in rush and panic.

(At CRS 406, who do have chance for direct ITA, provided you are willing to wait for some time....lesser documentation-lesser chances of rejection & no such limitation of 2 years)

8 days...that's great news...:)..
how much was your work experience in primary NOC..?was it within last 5 years..? If your answers are
less than 1 yr / no ,then I may be wrong...
----
for NOIs received for profiles above 400,it may be sufficient that one has to answer to above questions affirmatively from among 'any' of the work experience that he has put in EE profile...
---
but looking at NOI that I received,I can confirm that they don't look beyond CRS (above 400) or NOC code to send NOIs...if they were looking,I'd not have received NOI.....;)
--
I'm happy to be proven wrong,if the answer is a positive news (for any of us...:))

Had some spare time to check the possibilities to get direct ITA for applicant having CRS near 400, going pessimistic for calculations.

Experts please have a look into the calculation and please point out anything is missed or wrongly considered.

Calculation is based on following assumptions,
1. Frequency of draw : Bi-weekly
2. Draw size : 3300 ITAs
3. Average no. of applicant inflow per day : 150

Gap (in no. of Days) between 65 & 66 draw : 26 days
CRS Range 26-May 22-Jun Newly Added
1. 601 1200 143 355 212
2. 451 600 656 2216 1560
3. 401 450 6717 9463 2746
4. 441 450 226 809 583
5. 431 440 295 1082 787
6. 421 430 206 1172 966
