Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and before I give my predictions I will like to wish everyone a very best of luck. I hope everyone in this forum get their ITA soon.

CIC is significantly changing their point based system and the decline in scores is simply a result of such steps. CIC wants to make its process more transparent, fair, and swift, and therefore, has changed its rules to accommodate Job vs Education gap. This was deemed important to truly reflect the HIGHLY SKILLED WORKERS which in the previous system was more focused on Jobs rather than other Factors such as Education.

The second important thing is that CIC now aims to merge different schemes under Express Entry and targets to issue 100,000 ITA's by the end of this year. The first quarter of 2017 have issued more ITA's than the full year of 2015. In July the new scheme will be issued which includes proposal to Determine Score for Each NOC, that if approved will mean scores for common professions such as Accountants, Finance, Some Engineering and Medical NOC will be lower than those categorised as Rare profession.

All above developments are under discussion and will be enacted on the discreation of CIC. However, it is confirm that major positive changes are on the way which will have impact on the EE system. Finally, 2017 will have highest rounds than prior years (30 or more rounds) with record number of ITA's issued through EE.

Taking the new policy in account I have made the following predictions for the next 2 draws:

60th Draw on 26th April - Score 417
61th Draw on 3rd May - Score 410

+/- 2 depending on the additional applications submitted during this period. There may be an Easter surprise from CIC on 19th April, in that case Score is predicted to be 415.

I hope everyone will benefit from the new changes in a positive way. GOOD LUCK! :)

Hi guys!

Please help me solve this big issue:(

I had 406 points before retaking IELTS but after retaking IELTS and getting CLB 9, I had high hopes of my score going up. I had birthday in March and lost 5 points. But still 400 points plus CLB9 should give a boost to the score. Isn't it?? My constant is unable to figure out the issue. :( I don't wanna miss the next draw plz helppppp!!!

Yes you will get a good boost. Around 50 points. What are your individual module scores?

It takes 5 minutes of your time to do that. You go ahead and do it yourself and let them know. Just be sure to capture screen shots of your current application, so you can use it to enter the info accurately when you create it.

[size=10pt]I KEEP WONDERING WHY DO PEOPLE WASTE MONEY WITH CONSULTANTS WHO DO USELESS JOBS

IF YOU CAN SEE AND READ, I BET YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF.

Hi guys!

I'm at 402 and received NOI from Ontario yesterday. Once i'm done with ECA for my spouse (which will take a month and a half atleast) , the crs will jump to 410. Is it recommended to wait for ITA around 410 in May/June or should I go ahead with OINP at 402 ?

OINP is valid for 6 months. Wait for a couple of draws . I believe you will get ITA on 62nd Draw

Yep that is clb9 for sure. You will get a 50-60 point boost.
Use this link to calculate yourself,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Once you are sure, update your EE profile yourself.
Half of the time, these consultants dont know anything.

just repeating the post ;) +1

I read somewhere that OINP has a cap of 6000. I received NOI yesterday with a CRS of 413 and i'm waiting for a fall in CRS to apply directly.

Do you think it is risky?

If it is next week I see it being lower than 417 - probably sub 415.

There aren't enough people entering or currently there to eat up 3700ish worth of ITA's ;D

26th is a different matter entirely.

I'd love to see that happen and seems logical too. :)

Random thought ... For the long-timers here... I wonder what the qualifications to be an immigration consultant are. I feel like I've learned so much that it's a potential career opportunity, lol. :)

What was the score of today's draw.

I lived in Canada for 5years. There are very few jobs in engineering and management.
After today's draw it got me thinking. If more and more skilled immigrants are getting PR, how they are going to find work there in their respective fields.

They might not be in a respective field, if you are around 25/26 and want to live in Canada you can almost re-start your career there.

If you are skilled enough say 30+ in age with a solid working background and managed to get PR, then finding a job isn't impossible. Canada's a big place, I don't know of anyone struggling.

420 with 3900+, usually if there is a bak to bak draw, the next will be 2 weeks or 3 weeks more likely?
