I cannot believe that happened!!!!
Amazing.
Also great to see the break down of the number of applicants in the pool.

Fingers crossed for another draw this month this time at 418 ;D

I made a prediction of 427, assuming 14 day draw. Since last draw happened with a gap of 12 days, i assumed this draw wont happen within 2 weeks.
How wrong was i? One thing you can be sure about cic, is its unpredictability.
Now doing the same calculations for 7 days, my prediction for yesterday's draw would have been 422.6 for 3750 ITA's. More ITAs were issued, so 423 seems about right.

Got some work now. I will let do my calculations and let you know what i think CRS would be for 7 day and 14 day interval.

Just curious, you should have received an ITA with your CRS points. Did you reject your ITA, or you are just starting this thread to know who are hoping for the 60th draw? thanks :)

I have also applied through an agent, but get most of my news and updates from this forum :) Called them this morning if they got my email or not. They said it takes a while, but are hoping to receive it.

The agent believe that "all" those above the cut off point will get their ITA. I am still complacent, as i have read in some post that some of them haven't received their ITA. fingers crossed!

My expectations for next draws will be like this : (I hope so)
3rd draw - April 3800 414
1st draw - May 3850 404
2nd draw - May 3800 397, so i think we are going to see this for the first time, the CRS score below 400 in May 2017
1st draw - June 3900 394
2nd draw - June 3650 390

My previous expectation for the last draw 8) 100% correct

.... and waiting for the end of year report 2016 for an in-depth information

I dont even know if they have submitted my application yet.. they send it for review again yday..so i am doubtful it would have been in the pool for this draw...hoping to catch this one at least!! Hope you get yours!! :)

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and before I give my predictions I will like to wish everyone a very best of luck. I hope everyone in this forum get their ITA soon.

CIC is significantly changing their point based system and the decline in scores is simply a result of such steps. CIC wants to make its process more transparent, fair, and swift, and therefore, has changed its rules to accommodate Job vs Education gap. This was deemed important to truly reflect the HIGHLY SKILLED WORKERS which in the previous system was more focused on Jobs rather than other Factors such as Education.

The second important thing is that CIC now aims to merge different schemes under Express Entry and targets to issue 100,000 ITA's by the end of this year. The first quarter of 2017 have issued more ITA's than the full year of 2015. In July the new scheme will be issued which includes proposal to Determine Score for Each NOC, that if approved will mean scores for common professions such as Accountants, Finance, Some Engineering and Medical NOC will be lower than those categorised as Rare profession.

All above developments are under discussion and will be enacted on the discreation of CIC. However, it is confirm that major positive changes are on the way which will have impact on the EE system. Finally, 2017 will have highest rounds than prior years (30 or more rounds) with record number of ITA's issued through EE.

Taking the new policy in account I have made the following predictions for the next 2 draws:

60th Draw on 26th April - Score 417
61th Draw on 3rd May - Score 410

+/- 2 depending on the additional applications submitted during this period. There may be an Easter surprise from CIC on 19th April, in that case Score is predicted to be 415.

I hope everyone will benefit from the new changes in a positive way. GOOD LUCK! :)

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the incredible information. It's great to see CIC is thinking how to make this system meet the goals.

One change I would really like to see, but I've never seen discussed, is more benefit for a couple with 2 highly skilled professionals. With the current system, the point difference in the scores doesn't really reward couples of high equal ability. Since Canada is essentially getting two for the price of one, lol, it seems that would be a benefit to the process.

We will eventually make it, as we have a plan to address every way that we can increase our score (improved french, canadian education, job offer, PNP). But we'd rather do it while we're younger.

Hi guys!

I'm at 402 and received NOI from Ontario yesterday. Once i'm done with ECA for my spouse (which will take a month and a half atleast) , the crs will jump to 410. Is it recommended to wait for ITA around 410 in May/June or should I go ahead with OINP at 402 ?

IELTS is out on 21st

Draw on 19th will mean the pool doesn't have a chance to fill up.

I think from the stats I did last night between the 5th and the 7th there were an additional 400 people with 423+ then another additional 600 with that score by the draw yesterday.

So if a draw is done on the 19th probably 1000ish new people with above 423 will be there.

However if its the 26th IELTS results will be out so I have no clue how that will affect the picture

Waiting on a hope and a prayer at 418.
