How will you do it then?

In case its based on online scores, how will you get the IELTS result reference number?

Fortunately I dont have to wait for my TRF. i gave my ielts through IDP and it came up along with my test results online right on the 13th day.

how do we know the next express entry date ?

Unfortunately no one knows. It is generally every other Wednesday but factors can affect that. I personally believe that there will 99.99% be a draw this Wednesday the 22nd.

Hey fellas,

I find people of all Nationalities here, trying hard to get an ITA. I can understand why people from the third world countries prefer to immigrate to Canada, for obvious reasons; for instance, I had had enough of the corrupt system and don't want to expose my kids to the same atmosphere.

However, people from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, US, etc. are found plenty here too. Is Canada so much better than other similar developed nations?

I am moving to Canada because my significant other is from Canada. I personally think Australia is better :P

I am from the US and right now there are tons of tension for many reasons, political and otherwise. Aside from that every country has something unique to offer and it depends on what you are looking for. I have a great life in the US. I can't imagine getting a job in Canada paying me what I make in the US, but I have two children including a two year old. We are minorities and I'd rather raise him where there is less tension surrounding race. Canada isn't perfect but it also has the unique advantage for me that it borders the US and I can visit family by simply hopping in my car.

For BC, it doesn't show the TRF number online

I don't think it matters where we come from. Whether first, second, or third world, all of us are doing it because there is something about Canada that we like. For some, it's the health care. For others, it's a chance at a better life for them and their families. Other need a change for change's sake. I'm really excited to live in a country were on the whole, diversity is celebrated. Canada is constantly near the top of charts such as how free a country is, how happy a country is, etc. Good luck to us all!!! :)

I just hope that there are 2 draws in next two weeks and points drop in every draw..Sitting at 426..Dn knw abt the chances..

Singapore is claustrophobic. You look out the window and all you see is concrete instead of the sky. And I'm only 26 but my life already revolves around work. In Jan, I realized how unhappy I was and that I need to get out of the city.

Compared to other countries, Canada is more affordable and politically stable. And the outdoors - wow! - just beautiful. ;D

Fingers crossed for a draw this Wednesday!

I am anxiously waiting at 427 .. and hopeful that this Wednesday or the next the scores will drop and I'll get an invite. However, as a plan B was checking how can I improve my score. Can't do anything about the age or experience .. both are max-ed out. For English Language, I am at CLB 9 - L 8.5, R 7.5, S 7.5, W 7.5

My question is and I guess I know the answer is 'no' .. can I take only the Reading test in IELTS ;D . If I get a 8 in reading, with the above my CLB should be 10 and I get additional points.
