Yes you do need a job offer for this. But the point here is that CIC has another program for immigration and they might be busy figuring out how they should go ahead with all these programs.

My husband is the main applicant and we are waiting for his ECA. We will be receiving it any day now.
BUT he missed CLB 9 with S:8,L:8,W:6,R:8 He is retaking IELTS on this weekend. I hope we can catch the next draw

So our overal score: 400 :-[

The only thing that we can say with certainty is that it is unpredictable.. Suggest to take your mind off the draw.. It will come when it has to... Till then just relax and focus on ways to improve your crs as much as possible...

Chances at 400 are extremely low unless CIC decides to become extremely lenient and liberal with cut offs.. Suggest to take IELTS again and boost the score with a little bit of additional practice.. In that way If u get a good CRS, things are more in your control..

Yes, re-take IELTS. But you should create EE profile as soon the ECA is done, without waiting for re-IELTS score. Even if you are at 400, keep your EE profile active at all times. You never know when Ontario starts giving ITAs again .. so am sure you don't want to miss on the chance.

Is there any other way to increase scores, apart from IELTS? well, I think I've maxed out IELTS (My wife will be taking it in April), but apart from that? I'm seriously thinking of taking french language test, but I only know basic french. Need atleast 4-6 months to get a decent score (i'll flop in speaking though, as i need to think and speak french!)

But apart from language? let us brainstorm ideas :

ITAs sent in 2017 - 20,863

ITAs sent between 01/June/2016 to 31/Dec/2016 - 20,783 ...

Till date IRCC has issued 41.5K ITAs for 2017 quota....They will issue remaining ITAs within May/2017. So the candidates can land in year 2017.

Any guess on num ber of ITAs from now to May month ?.....

Do some calc and apply logic.... i hope it will be helpfull to all....
