Wait until you get to Canada. Disappointment of professionals in many sectors is reaching its peak when they actually start working.
Maybe it is a nice country to live in but amateurs on every corner are driving you crazy. There is always a hope that there is a better workplace from your own but this amount of laziness, careless efforts and unprofessionalism I have never seen anywhere. And I travelled a lot before coming to Canada. People just don't take enough ownership in what they do and only thing majority cares about is what will they do after work.
Just look at this crapy administration and put it through the magnifying glass. You will see the real picture of Canada.

I have been reading about this elsewhere too.Given my bleak prospects of getting an ITA now, it seems i should stick to living in Europe. I agree that the administration has to made a mess of the system. I also feel the FSW and CEC should be decoupled from each other rather than waste peoples time just for show.

It. Is. Going. To. Drop.

484. Well, if it's today 484. If it's first week of Jan maybe 489.

Do you ever feel like a broken record?

Hello evryone, quick question about the new rule of canadian education. I studied here for 2 years as post grad diploma. And I have pharmacy degree from back home. Do I qualify for 30 points under the new law? Because it says there to qualify for 30 points - an eligible credential from a uni level program at the master level or at the level of an entry to practice professional degree for an occupation listed in the NOC LEVEL A for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required.
And pharmacy does quality in NOC-A and does need license to practice.

All the time, but it's addictive. How are people so miserable?

Pre ee, anyone with a degree, 1 year of work experience and decent English skills would be granted pr. Cic haven't just increased the requirement standards, they are the same. Those people are around 420-450. The scores WILL drop to invite them.

(Generic statement and not aimed at anyone on here:)
We live in an "instant gratification" world in which people are accustomed to getting what they want very quickly. I see a lot of that expectancy bleed over into Express Entry. People aren't patient and want everything yesterday.

470

470+30=500

497

Today's draw 495, 494 +/-2 ;)

1+1 =2

465+7=472

489+30 = 519

What are we doing here?

In case there is a draw, I see less number of PNP as we had a draw last Friday. Moreover people above 470 points prior to changes will likely be less....only thing I foresee is people who are between 470-497 are those who have their scores appreciated due to the changes . If around 2k invitations are made, I see the scores back to somewhere close to 470-475 !!

when is the next draw?

Are you serious? Do you really need an explanation about those numbers?

I taught we all have them in our dreams..
