The UK parliament is now in recess for Xmas and New Year. Not sure about whether holiday season has started for Canadian government officials. Any ideas? Hopefully there would be a draw this week, and it would be beter if today.

Wouldn't read anything into it just yet. A lot of places fail to open up exactly on the hour. More true with governmental agencies.

I got to say I feel like this is a real broken system. I have the maximum possible score for my first Language ability, a undergrad and a PhD from a decent school in the US, and have been currently working in Europe developing sensors and I'm in my early thirties yet I haven't gotten an ITA since October. Somehow I only have a 469.

Thought Canada would be a nice place to live and work but I think its about time to call it quits ; would have had a better shot with the previous conservative government. I guess with the changes to the EE scoring recently, FSW candidates without a job have absolutely no chance.

I feel for you as you missed the ITA by only 1 point. and hadn't the new points been added to international Students you would have had an ITA by now. But i think you still have a good chance.... may be....by April 2017. Don't loose hope.... Coz i will get an ITA only after you get(463) .

I removed my post as I realized it was neither here nor there. I think realistically the score is going to hover around 490 for some time or maybe even go higher. I think if you are an FSW without a job offer it probably is not going to happen.

Wait until you get to Canada. Disappointment of professionals in many sectors is reaching its peak when they actually start working.
Maybe it is a nice country to live in but amateurs on every corner are driving you crazy. There is always a hope that there is a better workplace from your own but this amount of laziness, careless efforts and unprofessionalism I have never seen anywhere. And I travelled a lot before coming to Canada. People just don't take enough ownership in what they do and only thing majority cares about is what will they do after work.
Just look at this crapy administration and put it through the magnifying glass. You will see the real picture of Canada.
