Am I the only one who is expecting draw at Nov 23rd rather then at Nov 30th.

I like the way you think! ;)

I studied engineering in NS. So I have a diploma in Engineering and a Bachelor's of Engineering (where the Bachelor's degree was 3 years). In addition I have 1 year of Canadian work experience, and the language test scores that I mentioned above. :P

Ahh makes sense. I wonder how many intl students have either FWP or Masters/PhD. Im guessing between 500 and 380, maybe?

445 points after the new change still low

I don't want to give u false hope, but I believe at some point next year the cut off may see a new low. Do to the reduction of LMIA point they will have to re-adjust the minimum score...but again this is just my speculation.

Possible, they would have to break the cycle at some point because I suppose they will not have a draw on 28.12. (holidays)

I think maybe 23.11., 7.12. and 21.12.

They did it last year too.

This sound reasonable and it would be a nice Christmas present

Yea I think so too, Otherwise they will have draw on 30.11, 14.11 and 28.12 which is unlikely due to holiday schedule meaning only one draw in December. So Three draw on 23rd, 7th and 21th makes more sense.

Wow. I currently have 430 but I studied In Canada for 2 years. I hope I will receive more than 30 points.

15 points are granted for a 2-year diploma. You get 30 bonus points if you completed a PHD/masters/bachelor's degree/3-year diploma in Canada.

If I was to secure a one year contract, which is now considered a valid job offer under the new changes, how many points would I get for it?

You will still need an LMIA for your 1 year contract to get the 50 points.

i'm personally excited about the this draw (even tho my score is way below that i expect for the draw)
