My assumption is correct, the point will stay at 475+ after all program resume
Considering August/September is graduation month for a few masters programs in Canada.
Its comforting to see most of the people with 475 score getting picked in this draw.
By December even with alternate all program draws, with 3900 invites each, CRS should come down to 470

Hey,
Just wanted to reach out and see if any of you have received any approvals during this COVID period. Its been almost 8 month since my application, so just wanted to see if anyone else has received an approval.
Thanks in advance.

By this rate we should reach 85000 ITAs by october end. If they continue till december they would exceed the target by almost 10k. Hope they dont skip draws

Keeping my fingers crossed. I will be in real hot water since my IELTS is expiring on November 8..
Ensure if you receive an ITA at the end of the month that you submit all your documents before November 8th.

So even if I get ITA before my IELTS expire, I still have to submit all my documents before November 8? Will my IELTS still expire if I submit documents after IELTS expiration date? Because I thought your results freeze once you receive ITA.

Your point freezes once ITA is issued. It doesn't matter when you submit provided it is still within the 90days period.

Thanks for clarifying as I thought it was at the time of your AOR it freezes.

It depends. Usually, your documents have to be valid on the date of your e-APR. The only exception is your age which gets locked in when you receive an ITA.

Over the past two months, about 3100 new candidates entered the pool every month. Even though the data size is very small to generalize it, however, if this trend were to continue, the CRS cut-off should be declining in the coming draws to come. On the last draw, there were about 1900 candidates left with CRS score above 471. Now assuming the trend will continue for next two months, there will be about 6200 new candidates in next two months. Therefore, the total number of candidates in the pool over next two months is about 8000. Since 3900 candidates are generally invited every month, there is a great chance that the CRS cut-off will be inching toward 470 by that time.

Disclaimer: I have completely discarded the CEC draws and the candidates pulled out in those draws for my model.

you need to submit before results expire or resit the test
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile/respond-invitation.html

Changes to your personal situation
If your situation (or that of your spouse or partner) changes, you should re-calculate your scorebefore applying online for permanent residence.

If your recalculated score is less than the lowest score in your round of invitations, you should decline the invitation. If you decide to apply anyway, we may:

  • refuse your application
  • not refund your application fee
Some examples of changes that could lower your score:

  • you no longer have a valid job offer
  • you no longer have a provincial nomination
  • your language test scores:
    • have expired
    • are lower after you were retested
