470 is the new normal it was already the new normal pre covid. The best way to enter Canada is after your undergrad degree and complete your masters in Canada and gain appropriate experience. This is the new strategy to gain PR.
That's not as easy as it sounds. Not all are successful in this journey. Tons of them came back home as well.

H1Bs who have made a fortune in the US will now be foraying into Canada in lakhs. Canada is not inviting outlanders but still the minister will send invite announcements to all the H1Bs.
Embrace to see another big wave of H1Bs crossing into Canada.
Some good news is IELTS is not resuming full and ECA takes a prolonged time to complete the work. That can save those settled with a score of 465 and above from the upcoming H1Bs

Man, this is extremely demotivating. On the one hand, tons and tons are now writing IELTS with fire and are coming up with an 8777 score every 2 or 3 mins. WES is also giving reports at lightning speed these days (which was not the case when we were trying).
On the other hand, no FSW draws at all and none of us know until when FSW draws will be on hold. But it is clear that no FSW until Sept or Aug at least. All the new peeps will keep increasing in the pool and no FSW is gonna make the score of 470 and above to be always constant.
Feels like all the hard work going down the drain. Some lost on age and others' IELTS expired.
Due to H1B restrictions, those H1B aspirants too will join the pool now.
What an unlucky batch (2020) we are.
No words to explain what most of us have gone through to get at least above 460. Nothing can be said, their country their wish. We should have kept a strong Plan B. Inclining too much to anything is a problem.
Let us go with Plan B before even that gets too late.
When there were back to back draws, 470s were the only once taking away every ITA (since Sep 2019 until March) and once FSW resumes, it is gonna be the same trend.
Heartbroken guys!!
Cannot blame or complain on anyone.

Just my two cents, but If you plan it well it can be quite easy. To make sure you don't return home without PR, there are few things you need to do when you come to Canada.

1.) Do a masters in Canada, not a diploma/certificate course. A lot of people make the mistake of not doing master's and they do not get the maximum points for Canadian education.
2.) Make sure you do the course of correct duration to get the 3 year PGWP. some people take a shorter course as it is cheaper and get only 1 year PGWP which doesn't give enough time to get more canadian experience points.
3.) Make sure you have 3 years foreign experience before coming to Canada. It is a combination of foreign points plus Canadian experience that push your score above 500 points. A lot of people come to study in Canada with no foreign experience, and find that the Canadian experience alone does not give them enough points.

If someone follows the above 3 points, a Canada PR is a piece of cake, is my opinion

I second this. While I do not fall into any of these categories, I had a bachelor's degree before I did a two-year program in Canada. Having 2 or more degrees + CLB 10 + 1 year of Canadian work experience helped my case. I can't emphasize the importance of CLB 10 and degrees.

Thank you so much for your advice, I thought of doing that but i was wondering if there will any impact to my PR application later on due to keeping two profiles.
Any thought here?

Thanks again !
Hey, did you end up creating a 2nd profile? I'm in the same boat. Thanks!
