That suits them though. They want people with high scores.

If they wanted people with only high scores, then there would have been no CEC only draw, 467 is a big drop from 471 in just one draw.

totally agree, history can't be used as a reference at all now. anything can happen

I think the latest Provincial draws (they have invited international skilled workers - Source: CICnews) show there will be a FSW draw any time soon. Maybe not today, but soon.

Even if we include the Alberta draw and entrepreneurs draw, they don't meet their bi-weekly numbers' target. So there is still hope. And back to back CEC only draw would be a bit too much for them to justify too, especially since they have said time and again that EE programs are happening and draws will continue.

Yeah, it's only midday in Ottawa now. There have been later announcements as far as I know, so it could still happen.



If that's the case, it'd be nice if they just said so. It's frustrating not knowing what is going on each week. Maybe if there's nothing today, someone should Tweet them asking about FSW draws again.

In my opinion the stream for today’s draw will be again some how impacted by current pandemic. May be more entrepreneur or CEC or something new as well....

That's true. Also, when asked about FSW draws, they haven't explicitly said they're not doing them anymore, so that's positive.

Although to be fair, when they set those annual targets, they might not have been thinking about a global pandemic and travel bans interrupting everything.

This is certainly interesting. It's 12:45 PM in Ottawa, so we have about 3 hrs to see if there's any draw today.

I don't know what this means for the existing candidates in the pool. I am not giving up my hope yet.

I don't remember it properly. I saw a notification on my phone when I left work on a Monday. More like 4 PMish but it could have been published a few hrs earlier than that.
