I was just imagining what a "worst case scenario" would be.Seems like an over-reaction if they did. Slowing down intake, or stopping it all together, would end up burdening the system if they intend to reach the targets that they just confirmed this week. There's, also, probably, still a high number of candidates in 450-470 range to pull from. Plus, outright suspending EE would end up costing people already in the pool points due to increasing age, expiring language results or ECA, as well as those people in Canada who need an ITA to apply so they can remain and keep working via implied status.
