Their

profile might have been created in may, without enough points then, but managed to increase their points since, which doesn’t change the date of profile creation.

Also, the cut of date is only indicating tie-breaker. If two profiles have same points but one has been in the pool longer than the other, that one will win.
One “stupid” question from me :) I’m just new here and you seem to be informative about this stuff.

If someone rejects invitation since some give wrong details re experience & get higher points, but afterwards need to reject (I read some posts here about it), do they replace that space by other candidate with the same score or thanks to those people possible chances are missed?

Thanks in advance.

Taking the references of all the details in forum(ray of hope 133 onwards) and seeing the trends of profiles entered per day..if the draw is on 5th of feb ..the crs would remain unchanged i.e 471, but sure shot it will increase to 472 the next draw in feb i.e on 19th or maybe some othe date in February..Best of luck everyone...

I don't work for IRCC. I have no idea what they do.

You take someone's spot.
Please elaborate on how that works.

If 3400 are invited, 15 people decline the invitation, I can't see them invite another 15 to fill those spots, right? It's later in the year when they start to raise the invitation numbers that they fill what fell off earlier.

And as for the pulling out of the pool before invitation, it's not like standing in line at the bank where you leave the line and the person behind you moves up. If you have 473 points, and there are 1600 people who have that and you leave the pool, there will be 1599 people in the pool, unless a new person with 473 points enter the pool. You won't be replaced by a person with 472.

Here is my prediction on Feb 5th:

Assuming for every score (469-475), N people enters the pool every day.
Assuming K people enters pool with CRS 471+ every day.
Assuming ITA count will be 3400.
Assuming no effective tier-breaker since they cancel each other.

On Jan 22th, 3400 ITAs were issued, includes the following:
1. All new profiles entered pool with CRS 471+ from Jan 8th to Jan 22th. (14K)
2. All new profiles entered pool with CRS (471-472) from Dec 19th to Jan 8th. (19*2N = 38N)
NOTE: No CRS 473+ was in the pool on the day of Jan 8th, since they were selected.

On Feb 5th, the number of ITA will be 14K + 38N as well, so what will be in the pool?
1. New profiles enters pool with CRS 471+ from Jan 22th to Feb 5th. (14K)
2. New profiles enters pool with CRS 470 from Dec 19th to Feb 5th. (48N)
3. New profiles enters pool with CRS 469 from Dec 19th to Feb 5th. (48N)

So the cutline will be obvious: 470

Extra: If the ITA stays 3400, and interval stay 14 days, the cutline will stay at 470-471.

Anyone get some suggestions about my situation?
Currently, I am 470 and create my profile on Oct,2019. My CLB level is L: 7 S:8 W:9 R:10
My point will increase to 483 on Oct,2020 because of two years Canadian work experience.
Do I retake IELTS or wait for draw?

Thanks a lot!!!!!!

you can wait another 2-3 draws and get lucky. If not, then you still have some time to re-take Ielts.
