One of reasons of increase in the 460 plus candidates in the pool is because of the availability of certificates such as IELTS and Masters degree at a marginal cost.

Some dudes simply do not want to write IELTS (lack of good command over English) and simply pay to get the certificates. The irony is that these ppl even pass through successfully.

My sister lives in Canada and she said there was a Punjabi guy (who got PR 3 years ago) and now when he applied to get the Citizenship, the docs he provided to obtain PR were mismatching with what he currently produced to obtain Citizenship.

After an intensive BGV on him, it was found that he produced Forged IELTS and Masters Certificate while obtaining PR. Another shocking revelation is that he said 100s in his community or locality have got through this way in recent times and have got PR/Student Visas but he is the unfortunate one. Heard that he would be deported. Now he regrets he could have better held PR status alone.

Even I have been contacted by those scammers asking me to pay a decent amount of money to get the certificates such has IELTS or PTE. Also heard that they are expanding their service to even provide TEF too

I'm not sure if this is happening quite high in Punjab or Andhra (two states of India often making headlines on all these often) but guys, fraudsters like the above guy too are competing us in the pool and Canada must further intensify its BGV to wipe these frauds.

These people have no conscience. My husband took IELTS 7x and he is still trying, hoping to get by. Their fraudulent acts will be exposed if not now, in the future!!! Whatever you, it will come back to you as they say!

Or maybe another reason why score is so high is because some create dummy accounts to increase the CRS pool in order to increase people taking IELTS exam. Money making business!

No they don't ask for child details. Only detail was how many people are googo to Canada, in which count you have to also include yourself and fill in.

Hello All , I have re posted a message that I quoted on the 11th of June this year. Now I have a very special reason to share this message. friends, I will feel truly honored if my incidence brings even an iota of encouragement to people who are feeling hopeless at this point of time considering the hike in Crs cutt offs. I feel the name of the forum " ray oh Hope " is truly applicable to each one us at different stages in our Journey. Guys I had been trying out for Pr since 2017 ( back ground story below in older post ) I had absolutely no rational reason as to how my dream was to transform into reality as I had probably maxed out every thing and was still at 435 with bachelors and my Ielts results ending in may 2020 which was a big concern for me. however this forum kept my strength alive. I always hoped for a positive outcome and endured the test of Patience. As they say miracles always happens to the one who believes in them. Friends on 25th of Sept I got a notification of Interest letter for Alberta pnp. Without any further delay I accepted it , gathered all the documents and couriered it. By god's grace , I received my PNP nomination yesterday night and now my score has skyrocketed FROM 435 TO 1035 with additional 600 points. I know the Journey has just begun but for me this feat is equivalent to receiving a gold bar.

All I want to say is NEVER LOOSE HOPE ' THERE'S ALWAYS A RAY OF HOPE " we just find that ray at different times in life .

Well I must say that I 've been closely watching this forum and have been learning a lot. Now to share my part of the story let me tell you people that I 've personally been in the pool since May 2017 @ Crs 390 after 3 IELTS attempt I finally managed to score 888 & 7 in Writing and my CRS score sky rocketed to 435 with Wes Considering my bachelors. I Made a new profile on May 2018 hoping that 435 would definitely fetch me an ITA only to later realize that it wasn't going to happen soon. I waited till Feb2019 hoping for the scores to drop down but it didn't happen. Since I did my MBA in Distance education from SMU , the only option i had was to get my ECA done through ICAS this time since I've heard quite a few success stories. I requested for my MBA & BBA Transcripts and was eventually forwarded to ICAS for Evaluation. I received an update last month from them asking me to re send the transcript on the letter head of the university and not on the letter heads of the autonomous college. The documents have been couriered and i am patiently waiting for the positive results to arrive by October this year. My IELTS results are valid till the month of May 2020. If ICAS recognizes my master degree, My CRS will take a quantum Leap to 478. My point is I completely understand that a lot of people like me would be feeling exhausted as the wait kinds of drains you mentally but we can't let that happen to us. all we can do is be optimistic and take necessary steps in order to transform our dream into reality. I WISH HOPE & PRAY to god for all of us sailing in the same boat to god for not only granting us success but to give us strength to endure in our Journey of transforming our Canadian dream into a reality.

Your message is truly encouraging. Even I was feeling a bit down as my full time MBA was recognised as Bachelors from WES. My CRS is only 359 and NOC 1311. Planning to give IELTS soon. I messed up with my listening score or else could have easily crossed CRS 400. Waiting hopefully and trusting in God completely.
