one of my student will have 481 because his company is willing to apply lmia for him. but he wonders if 481 would be still not enough after 7 months. will 481 be ok for May 2020?

I had create my profile few months ago, but I updated my profile on 21st Oct 2019 and my current score is 472.

Do I still get ITA in today's draw?

Why so gloomy everyone? This draw actually should be good news for most. If they do another one in two weeks the score will even drop more than that. I think by next year we'll get back to the 460-465 range. This will be the new norm. Thank god we saw a draw today no matter what the CRS was.
Yes I hope that too, but it looks bleak. The prediction in the forum suggests that the next cutoff on November 27th would be 469-471. If three draws occur until December end then these could be the cutoffs. Below is my conservative ballpark prediction (with 3600 invites):

Nov 27- 471-472
Dec 11- 470-471
Dec 18- 468-470

I think cutoff could have been 470-471 had they issued 3900 ITAs. Don't know what CIC has in mind for 2019 ITA numbers. Certainly they would want to match last year number of 89800 , for which they need 14500 more ITA's this year. 3600×4 = 14400 which is a realistic thing.

So looking at yesterday's draw, What do you guys think of score 458? Should I just accept the fact that Canada is not for me now? I'm mentally exhausted now.

Looking at the number of ITA's issued this year, one gets a feeling that they will be issuing around 86000 ITAs this year which would be short of last year numbers. Also, looking at number of people in 464+ range ( 2 Oct onwards), it looks impossible for a score lower than 462-463 this year (even if there is 1 b2b draw). On the other hand,CIC might surprise applicants by conducting 4 draws until end of this year, chances of which are bleak.

Hello all. Finally the draw happened, phew. My score is 473 and have not yet received my ITA. Can anyone tell me how long does it usually take to receive one?

CRS with 3 years work exp 474 with 2 years the tool
http://www.cic.gc.ca/ english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp shows 449

Got ITA today but i have doubt in the way foreign work experience was calculated. Currently the Express Entry tool took it as 3 years as i had by mistake put Company D as 40 hrs. Not sure if i decline and put it as 20 hrs will it qualify as 3 years. Also the tool takes only month not exact day when creating the profile so confused with work experience calculation
I have worked from
Company D: September 1, 2017 to January 10, 2018 - 20Hrs/Week
