I had a query on work experience for a friend. She has five years of part time work experience and the remuneration was in cash. Can she claim 2.5 years of work experience if she can get a letter stating how many hours she worked and how much she was paid?

Dear VKA, Firstly, congrats on your score and there will a dip in ITA score every now and then. You can also try for province nomination if you really want to immigrate soon. Recently, more people are opting for Canada over Australia and so they chances of increasing the Cut-off score is high. Before it gets too worst, try for province nomination for safer side.

Thanks for your reply and suggestion. The reason I am keen to go for general immigration is because majority of my experience is in Real Estate industry, which is not on demand in most of the Canadian provinces. So, I can’t get picked up in PNP’s. Moreover, I am very keen to change my field of expertise by opting for few marketing courses and start afresh. Thats the idea. Nevertheless, SINP ( Saskatchewan provincial nomination ) is open. I don’t have much idea about it, but you can throw some light on it for other readers if they happen to participate in this PNP.

Same as you @mrs.Saifee, sitting at 456 crs score. Let’s hope the cut off dips down soon. I can see people saying it’ll be not be until early next year, this year it may or may not be. Anyways, fingers crossed.

Hi, i have a query related to spousal work experience. As i know from the crs tool, one can claim 5 points for spousal CEC experience.in my case am not getting that 5 points even after adding the 1year spousal cec experience with a proper noc.

does she has any record of paying tax and you said she got paid in cash so i dont think according to govt. record she even worked for 1 hour

as long as you receive your ITA and filled your docs and submit them before your work permit expires you are good. all the best

Are you not extending it? If your application is in progress I guess you are still under valid status.
