I believe that there will be a draw on Wednesday, 28-Aug. Last draw was deliberately conducted on Tuesday, 20-Aug. This was 8 calendar days after the draw, which was delayed. Now, they will do the same, meaning that next draw will be again with 8 calendar days interval on this Wednesday. Then, CIC will shift to the normal biweekly schedule, and increase ITA numbers as it did in September 2018. I hope this will happen this week, fingers crossed :)

@RAliyev This can also lead to the CRS going back normal in comming draws correct?

Exactly. I don't think that CIC is willing to increase CRS Score. At least, recent trend shows that they want to reduce this score. If they skip this Wednesday's draw, then there will be 15 days gap, and this will slightly increase the cut-off score. :)

This post is a big thank you to this series of threads, I got my ITA in Draw 124 and finally managed to complete my documentation this time around. Read further to know my journey.

I had applied for myself and a dependent spouse. I entered the pool with 458 on 2nd April, to my delight I got my ITA on 3rd, it was less than 24 hours and I had the 'Golden invite'.

To say I wasn't prepared for the documentation is an understatement. I however managed to get through all of this barring one, PoF.
Eventually the 60 day timer clicked out and I had to decline the invite.

So I was back in the pool and cutoff's for the next draw were 465. I was disheartened and dejected.

My spouse had already given her IELTS but our scores were far from the cutoffs, so to boost our score we needed to get her ECA done as well, I gathered the documents and submitted everything to WES on 20th June, and then began our wait time. We were so anxious but this forum kinda helped maintain that positivity required. So back at 20th August we finally received our ECA and that boosted our score to 466, but a few hours later the draw was out and to everyone's surprise it was 457.

It sure makes me laugh now but those two months I spent, I didn't sleep that well.

I've finally managed to submit all my documents, paid my fees and am awaiting further updates from CIC.

To all those on this forums who have been waiting, stay positive, Canada needs young people in their workforce and things will fall in place. Thanks a lot to all the active members who constantly guide and help users. Kudos to you!

they don't care whether the score goes lower or higher, rather they want to avoid making another huge back logs and want to meet their immigration quotas which wont be fulfilled if they dont do ample draws before the year ends. Also pls note that the desperation of cic draws ll symbolise long gap of draws during the election. Best of luck for all of you. I strongly pray there is a draw on 28th August.

Many will be devastated if a b2b draw takes place now as it will most certainly hint towards a delayed draw next up.
People here have been waiting for a long time after submitting their profiles for an ITA. I, for one, am waiting for my ECA report to create a profile that would have received ITA more than half the times the draw has happened. The frustration has no end because I know I'm missing out these draws and I cannot do anything about it.

Also pls note that the desperation of cic draws ll symbolise long gap of draws during the election.
Saying CIC will be desperate to meet the targets quickly before elections is seriously demotivating to people like me. Long waiting period will only up the cutoff, ruining many dreams.

Hey there,

This may be out of this thread's topic but I really want to know more about the gift deed process?

What are the downsides of it?
Is it always accepted by CIC?

Many thanks!
Anyone?

Hello all
I had been working for a company some 2 years back, and the company has closed its operations. How they will be verifying the work experience when no one is there anymore ???

I have lost 5 pts. I'm at 445. Also remove me from this tracker as I have withdrawn my profile from pool as I see no way. Thanks.

Hello all
I had been working for a company some 2 years back, and the company has closed its operations. How they will be verifying the work experience when no one is there anymore ???
If you can manage to get experience from a company previously worked at (in the last 10 years) , use that. I was in the same situation as you. My previous employer was very helpful and got me out of the situation.

If you are unable to do so my opinion would be to locate your hiring letters / contracts, as many pay slips you can find, bank statements, company id (where I come from, some companies have a proper id, others do not) and mention the situation in the LOE.

If the company closure was public, do include as many news clippings / reports etc.

This should suffice. However, more experienced people on this forum can guide you better.
