The number you used is not for 14 days but only 8 days. Moreover, the exact time is not known so a better calculation is taking the difference between successive data points, adjust by draw and divide by 14.

451+ speed at this point is 240 per day.

Can you show me where it says that the data is for 8-days and not the 14-days that they periodically release it for? Also, time of draw does not matter because the period between each subsequent data release is 14-days.

Whether draw starts on that period or not is irrelevant - I don't think you understand data analytics enough to judge my quality of mathematics.

See... you should always read the complete thing before replying. Otherwise you would have gotten your answer.

On one hand, you are choosing your starting point as the date of the draw, but on the other hand, you are choosing your end point as the date of the data-release? You have to either pick draw to draw or data-release to data-release.

Data is released every 14-days and is for data from that 14-day period!

• May 10th data of 1668 (451-600) was not from May1st to May10th, it is from April 26th to May 10th, which is 14-days, which is 119 per day.
• May 10th data of 317 (600+) was not from May1st to May10th, it is from April 26th to May 10th, which is 14-days, which is 22.6 per day.

But it does not mean that (1668+317) contained any single candidate from 26th Apr to 1st May draw, because all 451+ from 26th Apr to 1st May draw got their ITA on 1st May.
So whatever data published on 10 th Mayf for 450+ candidates was purely from 1st May to 10 th May, please don’t argue on this

Haha good one! But the thing is i get extra 25 points end of august for completion of 3 years experience so i think pnp thing takes 2
Months aswell. So in my case its a tough decision.

Stop worrying about that and accept it quickly. We all lingering in 440's will kill for an OINP EoI haha
(not really though since then it would reflect on the pcc and make us inadmissible lol).

PNP in September

people scoring above 460 and 460 are totally safe they just need to wait till July or August

Sad but ya ~ I am predicting the same but 1-2 points lower each than yours.

After the October Election everything will be unpredictable as the new government may announce the new/modify budget plan for immigration.

Brother might not have high knowledge of statistics but your point that 451+ candidates were not 0, just after May 1 draw with cutoff of 450, is completely absurd and misleading.
CIC already issued ITA to 451+ candidates who got entered in pool before 1May draw, so after 1st May draw,there was nobody 451+, pls understand

You are one lucky guy! Any chance you could convince lady luck to show some mercy to us all too? Haha

As for your concern, if you are undoubtedly sure that your experience is valid and will be accepted and and all the relevant documents pertaining to it will be promptly available, only then go down the EE route, otherwise just accept OINP and rest easy (though yes it would cost you more, but then again, an opportunity at door is much better than an opportunity at the horizon.)

P.S - If your initial plan of settlement does not revolve around Ontario, then you may pass on OINP.

Hmm, let me answer this by using the data published by you:
On 26th Apr, 450+ = (1511+279) = 1790
On 1st May, 450+ = 3350
450+ added between 26th Apr to 1st May= 3350-1790 = 1560
For that span of five days 1560/5 = 312 were added per day

Can someone created a profile let's say February 1, 2019 with 430 but he upgraded his point on May 2nd with 452?

I just received the PNP invitation from CIC account. "The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry."

I only have bachelor degree with CRS score 451. 2 years work experience, IETS LRWS : 7.5/6.5/6.5/7.

Anyone have experience of the PNP? Is it because I am lucky?

1. I mean that when draw was out on May 1st with cutoff of 450, then at that time nobody was left in pool with 451 points.
2. But after that draw let’s say on 2nd May there may be many with 451+

Hello house, am currently at 445, but expecting spouse WES report by 17th June to increase my point to 453. I just received Ontario provincial nomination letter, do u think I should accept, or wait for draw to come down to 453 after I get the WES report?
Also please who has an idea of how long the nomination process takes to update the 600 score on EE profile

Wow! Are you saying that there were EXACTLY 3350 profiles in the 450+ category on 1st May? How do you know that? Did the Canadian government call you or use Whatsapp?

Considering that the cutoff was 450 and a lot of people at 450 also didn't make the cutoff due to the tie-breaker, I wonder how that happened.

Tell you what - you stick to your guns and manipulate data in any way you deem convenient, I know a brick wall when I see one. And here I was thinking that my last 12-years of running a digital marketing & data analytics company would have taught me something.
