I got the result of my IELTS exam that I gave a week ago. They gave me almost the same score, thereby leading to no increase / decrease in my CRS score. The only thing which has increased is the validity of my score

This time - L 8, R 9, W 7, S 7.5
Last time in October 2018 - L 8, R 9, W 7, S 8

My scores in listening, reading and writing remained exactly the same. Particularly surprised by writing score which is just 7. I wrote quiet well using plenty of heavy duty words, but of no use. Anyhow, thanks to IELTS for enhancing my vocabulary. I'll use these new words on my manager

I share your views and always felt that a score of 7 in writing is a discredit to me. It seems like whole India has been capped at 7 band; do what you may!

Exactly! Validity factor is the plus point for you, here. However, if you're confident that you could have got much more than the current scores, go for the revaluation. You surely will improvement in scores then!

I share your views and always felt that a score of 7 in writing is a discredit to me. It seems like whole India has been capped at 7 band; do what you may!

I got a 7.5 on that. So it's definitely not a country cap. I avoided using big words and kept it simple. Maybe that helped. I would never know. The writing and speaking scores are very arbitrary.

Does anyone know if its ok to use a mcmaster certificate course as a second credential in express entry to get additional points. I did this course https://mcmastercce.ca/business-admin/certificate-in-business-administration-requirements and entered it in express entry as a one year certificate as I did it over two semesters. I am just wondering if cic will reject it after I receive an ita as my score with the certificate is now 457?

Did WES evaluate it as a one year certificate?

My wife got her IELTS result today, with her result I could add another 6 points. So it will come to 448 which is definitely better than 442. Her TRF will be received after tomorrow only.
Can we generate TRF number by ourself ? Otherwise we will miss possibility of ITA in tomorrow's draw

Please reply how can I get TRF today itself (if any possibility)

As for TRF, you can construct the number easily; however, how will you guess the result date. It is not same as that of online results.

Chase the courier folks. Even if you get it by evening, you can update the system.

First of all Congratulations for your new updated score 448.

You should call Customer Service and request them to share the TRF number. But, don't put any false or random TRF number just for the purpose of getting ITA. Once you receive the ITA, your details are freezed and you can't change/edit.

So, the first preference is to call customer care center and request them for the TRF number. If they don't provide, then you should wait to get your report delivered. But, DON'T misinterpret any information.

By the way, prediction for tomorrow's draw is 450 with 3350 invites. So, wait for your report I'll suggest.
