Optimism is what kept me going for the past two years now. I started this process in July 2017 and entered the pool for the first time in October 2017 with a CRS of 432, seeing cutoffs till 433 after I entered. Many said that cutoffs will drop to 432 and I will get it but it never happened. If I would've changed my profile to spouse not accompanying that time, it would've been 437 and a direct ITA would've been received(But I wasn't aware that we can do this way and many were saying its misinterpretation). After that, scores have been way high!

I'm still hopeful to see Canada one day! :)
That's the spirit you must have. Plus, there is still a chance you can improve your score, by giving a try to French!

Can you create a profile and receive ITA wothout the WES reports in hand??
@prsingh .. That is not possible. While submitting EE profile you need to mention the ECA report number received from WES.

Your scores are pretty good and healthy. You need to wait till your WES is done and a report is generated with the report number. Once done, you need to update your application with the WES report no. and only then you will get into the pool. 451 is pretty decent to get you an invitation immediately in the next round of draws once you submit your application. All the best!

WES report number is generally an alphanumeric code which includes: "Reference number" + "IMM", for example "234786IMM".

Although you can enter this code while submitting your EE-Profile, but still there is always a chance of getting incomplete ECA report in which some of the courses/diplomas couldn't be evaluated by WES and it seeks additional individual verification for those. It will cost you another delay in the completion of the report (8-12 weeks). Also, there is no guarantee whether WES will accept and approve all of the documents, during the verification period. So, its always tricky and one can't be certain about it.

Whats the chance of a CRS of 440 getting an ITA before September ? I dont think even if I retake IELTS, I can improve my CRS
There is a slim chance it will come to 440 but draws are unpredictable.

Why don't you try to improve your reading score? Another 3 points will definitely give you a better chance

Hello Snrs,

Here is my case.

How easy is it to sponsor your spouse and children if you apply now with a non-accompanying spouse?

I just entered the pool in February with 441, applying with non-accompanying spouse crs would be 468, however i am considering letting my spouse take the IELTS exam, while I could decide to wait it out, I will be 30 by March 15 and 5 marks gone.

My IELTS result is 8.5, 7.5, 7.5,7. L,S,R,W.

What would you advise?

Thanks.

Hello Guys,
My current CRS is at 440. but just to be well prepared in advance, I have a query regarding P.O.F. (proof of funds).

Today, I am going to submit documents for having a joint bank account ( my name will be included in the account that my wife already holds).
as all our savings are kept in her account.

As I understand, that IRCC's requirement is to provide them with POF (minimum 6 months Bank statement) and to have a minimum balance which will support us in Canada. All this is in place.

However, my question is going forward, Do I have to instruct the current company that I work for , to transfer Salary to this joint account, in order to reflect the source of funds?

Would highly appreciate for your support!

If you have some reasonable factors for not accompanying your spouse, then you can entitle them in your documentation. You should convince immigration officials. Spousal sponsorship will take up to 12 months once you become Canadian permanent resident, and also you should remain in Canada while your request is being processed.
Anyway, good luck!

No. It is not mandatory that your salary goes into that account. It is only mandatory that you have the required amount in it in accordance with the number of people in your family (spouse and dependents) and they can see that the amount was there consistently for some time and likely not sourced by a loan. The point is to show that you have enough funds readily available to you in the event that you don't have a job offer when you immigrate to Canada.

Hope this helps!

the most possible draw of #112 will be March 6th?

Hmm, you seem to be Pessimistic. It would have been good , if you shared possible date of draw along with CRS score. Respect your opinion .

Nevertheless, I am optimistic that the CRS score will not be 455+ if the date of draw is 6th March. The most likely case would be 450+/- 2 if there is a draw on March 6th.

Because of the #111 draw, we are so pessimistic.
Hope the #112 will come soon!!
