I still wonder how the hell cut off dropped that low  Did everyone above 414 made it that time  I really can't understand how they can drop it to 413. 20-30 point cut off is crazy

Now everyone trying to enter into Canada is good business for IELTS, ECA organizations and Sasketchawan :)
1 week gap draws was the secret behind that. 3 draws happened on 3 consecutive weeks which emptied the pool ranging 415-435. Also, the number of folks stuck on those scores were way less than what it is now.

So the 1 week draws are never going to happen again :( They learnt from their mistakes :(

Yes, now they have a grip of how many ITAs would be required throughout the year to meet their PR targets. So, accordingly they will spread the ITAs out evenly across the year (with 2 week gap draws and occasional 3 week gap draws) unless their is some surprises in future.

The next big thing which I expect they might change in future is going for targeted draws (maybe based on NOC) if they see a need for that.

Also, next year is election year, so things could change!

Will we still see CRS at 440s next year too?

Don't like the sound of noc targetted draws :(

How will the election affect Express Entry?

Mostly yes, around 440s based on the current trend. If the intake trend is higher than it could creep up too.

Election could bring a change in the government and the new governments always likes changes! :)

In your case is not. you can still get CBL 10 from all 4 skills and get some more points (for example your listening and writing part). Or get any other 1 year postsecondary diploma.
So just choose what is easier for you.

guys guys my dear family..I can tell you something a harsh truth.

1. new people are added to pool every second day with higher score, so what makes you think you are better than them who have higher score and you should get chance first before them, who have secured higher score. its like saying, I studied hard but since the topper got more marks he does not deserve to be selected because I think I studied harder than him/her

2. yes scores have been high , sp because lot of educated stem people moved from USA.

3. do not loose heart, but try to improve scores some how.

4. stop saying canada was showing wrong dreams... they said you are welcome, if you can make it through the system and score points. Some people are saying we wasted so much money eh.. Did Canada said , dude spend money, it was ur choice and dream, stop blaming.

5. some people blaming Ontario... because they are taking French people or skill trades. Each province knows its requirements and what they currently need to fulfil.. they do accordingly.

6. its a reality check for everyone who thinks migrating canada is easy and spread this word " Oh Canada , its easy dude" . its a slap of reality.

7. try getting a job , it gives you 50 points eh... keep on trying and by gods will everything will be fine

You are right. If you can not achieve the goal, you should change the plan, but not the goal. I implemented this, I could get enough points for FSW, so I came as student 3 years ago. Last week my PR card just arrived, I am so happy and proud.

:)
