At lease, they call you 2 times, they care you :
I think maybe they will never call me at the end and let me daydream almost two years !

pnp525, they would never call me either just like others but we have a contact at AINP who tried to give a push and after several tries they called me with all stupid information which is of no use. So it really doesnt matter if you know someone or the world is crashing or some one is dying they dont really care !
Bottom line all the wait for 1 year 8 months is waste i no there are many others like me even some might have left the country .

I need a suggestion. I applied on July 9, 2014 in EDS NOC 7511 long haul trucker and my work permit is going to expire on july 29 2016. And haven't heard any thing from ANIP till now. Do you think i should wait for there response o i should fine any other solution before i ll run out of work permit ?

My husband applied on December 2014 and received file number on January 2015. Last week he called AINP to ask for any updates and they said his application status is on process but honestly no one has touched it yet. So disappointing. I am eligible to apply through Post graduate worker category but can't apply unless we withdraw my husband's application after one year and three months

You can apply for AINP as a primary applicant even though you husband's application hasn't been touched yet. You don't have to withdraw his application. Many couples did that before and there was no problem at all. As long as the primary applicant is different you are fine.

you should call them to explain ur situation, since u applied in 2014 july you are eligible to make a phone call and request. There is one thing that i have forgotten to mention. if the AINP website is processing the applications received on x-x-x date and u applied to ainp before or on that x-x-x date then they will surely tell you the status otherwise just like some stranger they will ignore ur app or it would have not been touched since u have applied.

AINP use half months to move 3 days on their website for processing time, if they keep this speed, your work permit should last half year that they can finally working on 9 July 2014, AINP start joking us again ? as I said before, once they get rid of most of international students who likely work permit expires by July or August ,AINP system will come back to normal , if this year the certificates is about 5500, by now they should issue close to 1850 certificates, this control by AINP, they are not crazy, they are coldblooedness ! they didn't give a solution, they waste our time and give up 1000+ applications

Yes she can apply. But you mentioned that she is awaiting her work permit. She can apply once she receives her work permit.

Why don't you try Express Entry. I was an AINP applicant between Nov 2014 and Oct 2015. But later I got my PR under Express Entry in 4 months.

nomination received-06 april
wp exp- oct 2016

and 3 of my friends ,applied on 28 may, 30 may & june 2nd,they also gt confirmation calls.
